The day Ford took office my dad my brother and me were driving to DC for a weeks vacation and dads two week naval reserve duty my brother was 17 I was 19 and we had never seen people dancing in the streets . What a memory.

Different era's, and different circumstances and issues, tho it's clear that both President's ran their administrations as a pimped mafia organisation. Woodward, before he worked for WaPo, was Alexander Haig's briefer while he was deployed at the office of the Chief of Naval Operations. Haig was complicit with Admiral Thomas Moorer in pilfering documents from the White House and Woodward worked with Haig to cover this up. Both Haig and Woodward wanted Nixon out of office.

Remember it well. In 1972 (the last year of the draft) my number going into 1973 was...3. When they ended the draft I was so relieved and thankful for what Nixon had done. When Watergate unraveled I saw Nixon for the despicable liar, cheat, and criminal he was. A few years ago I discovered that he had secretly negotiated with the North to hold off on peace talks with Johnson until after the election in 1968, so he could take credit for ending the war. I have read so much about the UFO incident but I don't know how I missed this incident, it was good that I got to know about it from the why files' video... Actually, a similar incident had happened in that too, there is also a video on lighthouse horror channel in CZcams about the blackout on 13th Nov. 2013, in which the entire city's electricity was cut off and people were advised to stay indoors on the radio.. At that time, air sirens were also blaring, the government had asked to cover the light coming from the windows and doors, then a boy who had been bored at home for many days saw a very big triangle-shaped black-colored aircraft flying noiselessly in the sky... There can only be two things, either the government went behind all this or it was indeed an extraterrestrial aircraft ! !

My favorite little detail about this scene is how the sound of the cannons firing continues even after the teletype starts doing its thing. "Shots fired" indeed.

I think the video is a copyright violation, but the audio is not from the documentary. The voice of the Sullivan Ballou character is not one I recognize. Paul Roebling did that original voice-over.
