Miss Haiti 2014 Carolyn Desert - Crowning Moment!
"Miss Haiti 2014 Carolyn Desert who is she? She was born in Haiti and move to the states when she was 10 years old. She's a model who made a name in the modeling industry and traveled from Europe to South America for her professional modeling career. But Carolyn is more than that, not too long ago she decided she wanted to create Jobs in Haiti and ameliorate the customer service system. With that in mind Carolyn build her First restaurant in Petionville @aztec, she started with a few employee now she has up to 10 employees, her clients love her for for her charisma, she is also involved in empowering other young Haitian women to become the best of themselves. Puerto Príncipe, 7 sep (EFE).- La haitiana Carolyn Desert fue elegida hoy la reina de la belleza de Haití en un acto celebrado en el centro de convenciones Karibe en una ceremonia presentada por el actor y modelo haitiano Jimmy Jean Louis, en la capital del país.
Desert, también nombrada en la velada Miss Fotogenia, fue coronada con una diadema fabricada y elaborada enteramente en el país por el artista local Lionel St. Eloi y fue creada por la diseñadora Pascale Theard.
Según explicó esta semana Theard, fue un "gran reto" para ambos la creación de la diadema y con la misma quisieron "ensalzar la belleza de nuestras artesanía".
Por su parte, la coordinadora del comité de organización de la elección, Karine Beauvoir, aseguró recientemente que "queríamos darle un toque muy haitiano".
En la ceremonia se llevó a cabo un homenaje a todas las reinas de la belleza nacional anteriores. EFE
