I am heartbroken that driving on the beach is allowed now. It doesn't have that wild feeling, an escape from human harm. All the Ghost Crabs that were once abundant must be gone now. I don't see how they could survive with vehicles crushing their homes and bodies with all those wheels and tires. Look at all the tire tracks! Horrible. Seashell hunting? Everything crushed by wheels. What a sad sight. It was once wild and beautiful there. Vehicles parked behind the sand dunes, and people walked to the surf. What happened? People are too lazy to walk? Wildlife doesn't have a chance!

Your passenger needs to be scanning the surf and sandbars for breaks and sloughs that's where the most fish are, but even a blind squirrel finds a nut occasionally. Rip Gotcha plugs through the surf anywhere in the summer your bound to land a blue or 2.

Looks like it's getting close to complete.

Went the same route back in July. Bridge sections are now contiguous from end to end. Will be open on schedule by end of 2018. Finally!
