I was very upset and dissatisfied with the work and systems of Universal Student Homes. I'll start all over again. I got an email (I didn't delete all the emails) that there is accommodation for 600 pounds in the city of Leicester. I believed it and sent the money in the amount of 300 pounds sterling on May 9, 2024. At that moment, I thought I had booked an apartment. I was supposed to go to Leicester on June 1st. Then it turned out that this apartment does not exist and they will look for me before June 1st. I've been waiting for 3 weeks. In the end, thae sent several apartments that did not meet my requirements, which we agreed upon at the beginning. One apartment for 1,000 pounds, one apartment an hour away from my university. Then I wrote that it was unfair and wrong and they returned the money to me. They said that it was impossible to return 30% of the amount and in the end I agreed. Now they tell me that they sent it, but I didn't receive any money. I wrote several times that they sent me a check (receipt), but they don't respond. This is my experience. Make a Contract before sending the money. If they do not find it under your requirements, so that they return the money. And do not believe that there is an apartment, as I always check. I just believed it for the first time when they sent this apartment and attached a photo and good information for a non-existent apartment. If I had known that this apartment was not there, they would be looking for it, I would not have sent the money.
