why dont doctors leave the sperms next to eggs and sperms get through by themself?
Sometimes, with more mature eggs the sperm can not penetrate the egg so they are injected.
I think it is because, in most cases, the man who donated the sperm is infertile. So the sperm can't get through on its own

Melhor já injetar o espermatozoide dentro do óvulo, pois ele tem uma película que nem sempre o espermatozoide consegue penetrar.

During natural conception once the sperm fertilize the egg the tail falls off. The tail is for them to actually move. Once the egg is fertilized the tail is no longer needed.

Why are they injecting a non mobile sperm? Is it because they are frozen, or they're supposed to use fresh samples? And why are some of the sperm tails look like they're getting cut off? Would that cause fetal deformities?
Oooh, nobody answered you? That's rough, but, if I understood correctly, the spermatozoid lose the tail when find the egg.
Isso que eu gostaria de saber também. Alguns espermatozoides parecem já estar mortos, mas, com certeza não estão porque não estariam sendo utilizados. Estranhei também o fato de parecer estar cortando a cauda. Mas repare que ela continua lá. Não causa deformidade porque na fecundação natural, ele sempre perde a cauda quando fecunda o óvulo. A cauda é só para ele se locomover.
