Can do custom pedal like Digitech DF7 my pedal missing and the best from digitech
Why are these boards not used professionally?
"It turns out these tunes are really cool, We just didn't have a really essential part of the band" That line just cracked me up.
How you install when it’s says: example (gain 1+2) in the same row? Thanks and carry on with your amazing effort
dope vid, i've built a couple from kits and have some half-finished pedalpcb boards. this is next level though, thank you!
Subscriber 400!! WOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! I'm following along with this at home and its coming along well -- excellent guide! Thanks bud!
This is a good and informative video. I'm the same at work making myself troubleshooting guides. It makes life easier 👍
Wow the last one wa a great fuzz
Exponential or Logarithmic = the way hearing works
your inspirational cadence has me going from Beebo & ZOIA ConSumer to designer Zero-Latency Reverse Reverb in three minutes! thnx
Can anyone tell me what the resistor top centre is ? It says 100 + ohm symbol...is that just 100ohms? Or 100R? Or 100k? Thanks@!
That's just 100 ohms. It can be written like that, or 100R. Or possibly other ways too! I have no idea. 100k is 100,000 ohms so swapping them out would make a bit of difference. In most cases 15-20% difference wouldn't affect a pedal circuit much (you could throw in an 82 ohm or 120 ohm resistor with little noticeable difference)
So many years and still getting the chills
Awesome thanks so much. I’m preparing myself to move on to these Stripboard builds. I wasn’t clear on how the pots work.
The footswitch on my chinese vox wah pedal seems to have do three things. One click turns the power on, a second click turns the wah on and a further click switches the pedal off completely
It's interesting the tool you made to put breaks in the copper on the board. It gives a very neat finish
There is the thing of finding out which way around the non electrolytic capacitors go by figuring out what end is the outer part of the film. You can do this by holding the capacitor and touching it against your guitar lead plug with the other end plugged into your turned on amp. The less noisy way around shows you which end of the capacitor is the outside end of the film.
I actually LOVE that sound at the end for effect!
Great job!
Great, helpful vid, bro. Most others have good info but painful delivery. I could roll with yours all day. Thanks and keep up the good work 🤙
Amazing tutorial, today I made one myself but I changed a few values cause I did not have them. I wanted to use it with my modular system and took a few components from an old answering machine. I have no idea but it works even without 9V power and it seems a 9V makes no difference.
You should record more of your builds, very enjoyable and informative
Nothing skipped. 5⭐ video, even the 3PDT perfectly explained.
Super dope video. The dirt tone at the end sounded like Icky Thump 💯🤙
Great ideas, could you please make more educational videos to help educate the next generation of effects builders!!! I would like to learn and I am 67years old. Any Dallas Rangemaster Treble Boosters would be great to learn about for someone starting out!!!
Its really ugly 😀
Excellent guide. This has definitely helped with troubleshooting some abandoned projects. Thanks for sharing.
Fun! That's it! If they enjoy themselves, The magic can happen.
Gives credence to the saying “you’re only as good as your drummer”.
Good informative video. Therapeutic to watch. Thanks
What is this from?
What transistor did you sub at the end? Sounded crazy!
I think it was a darlington of some sort, hfe around 900 maybe? This video was a bit of fun for people who want to dabble but lack confidence so I tried to keep all the tech out of it, so it's pretty rough and ready
@@tomwaus Maybe place a switch to toggle between the 2 transistors...
Man I tried to build something similar, thanks!!!
Brilliant! 'ohoh... Dirty!'
0:25 where does this take of what about me come from? its definitely not the one they uploaded
In my opinion his best performance and one of the best I ever saw
Great tutorial!
That was a cool segment. Thanks for the post.
Mis bias from the gain control.
God.. Imagine getting a round of applause from your immediate peers, fellow musicians of high caliber applauding your talent and you still have the humility to get embarrassed from said applause.
✅ P r o m o s m.
All the musicians here are G. They were just missing Larnell, one of the greatest drummers in the world, IMO, and certainly the fastest study of a drum piece in the world. The cat burns tracks in his head like it's no one's business.
I really appreciate you putting this information out there. I've got a lot to learn but you've given me a lot of hope and knowledge!
can anyone tell me what song the clip at 0:24 is??
Everytime I watch this, I wonder about the drummer that wasn't good enough. Like...he had to obviously be an elite drummer to be playing with Snarky Puppy...but did Larnell ruin the dude's career in the same fashion that Vince ruined that French dude's career in that Olympics dunk?
it wasn't that he was not good enough. There were problems with his VISA and this is in the Netherlands. So he wasn't able to go. They called Lewis with 24 hrs. on the clock and he did the job.
I do wonder sometimes what would have been the other drummers interpretation of the songs. For example, would he have used the cymbal on the snare?
Interestingly the dual snare set up with the low tuned 'wet' snare where the floor tom usually goes is something Larnell picked up from Sput. Sput still pioneered most of the grooves that ended up on the album he just wasn't the one to play on the day. There's no denying Larnell brought a magical energy and creativity to the tunes. Sput's career certainly hasn't ended. He went on to play on multiple additional Snarky Puppy albums and tours, has his own band Ghost Note (check them out) directed/arranged/composed the bulk of the Zildjian Live performances, and most recently is now the touring drummer for Toto.
@@timstanton368 Thank you for that! I was sure was curious about that.
I think Shaun just gave Larnell his jazz nickname. Larnell "Money" Lewis.
You’re so good that your own bandmates tip you.
Very cool video!!!
Is there a full video about this one??
czcams.com/video/5p5sEewsYNM/video.html Yup, right here.
That's amazing !
This is hands down one of the best tutorials I've ever watched. PERIOD. Clear and so much attention to the right details. GREAT JOB!
Agreed 💯
