Kraan playing Degado from their album "Let it Out". Filmed in early 1976, when Ingo Bischof had left the group again, for a short time. In the original broadcast, this was already overdubbed with the studio version of the song, so the original sound is not available anymore. Remastered by WF203

Kraftwerk in their short lived 1971 lineup with Florian Schneider, Michael Rother and Klaus Dinger. Rother and Dinger would later form Neu!. This recording is not from the Beat Club Sessions or in any way related to them. It was recorded in a studio in cologne (hence the song title) for the youth programme "Okidoki". Remastered by WF203

......what kind of magical "archive" do you have? Excellent quality and the sound is remarkable for a TV recording so old. Some of the highest quality video of the violin legend Zbigniew Seifert I've ever seen as well.

I do wonder if the 50p remastering for the tape materials would return, have been binge this channel's videos for days now.
Hey, glad you appreciate the 50p Remasters, i do them whenever i have a source that is interlaced or already in 50p, sadly often videos are already deinterlaced when i get them and i'm not a fan of doing any AI-interpolation-bullcrap. In this case, the source was on Film, so it was never more than 25p.
Can't believe you actually replied and upload the tape material at their fullest potential so first, thanks for that - I was in fact a bit grudge when I wrote that comment lol; secondly - I do wonder as to how you gathered some of the archives like the Kraftwerk's 1981 tour or the Can's 76 perf in the UK?

They were from the Aachen region and played as a band ca. 1974-1976, there's a full unreleased radio session in the SWF's Archives. They also had another TV appearance in 1975, which i might upload in the future. They later toured as a backing band with Bill Ramsey (which you can see in this video). Drummer Udo Dahmen (previously of Ruphus Zuphall) later went to Kraan.
