The city has great public transportation. How long have you lived in Chicago?

@@chirealestateagent I never said it's great but it is fine in non rush hours. I've lived in and around there +60 yrs. You can get around near most of the city by using a map. And unlike any suburbs created post 1945 , the city has sidewalks to safely walk to a cta transport . In Lombard , etcetera your stuck because there are no sidewalks or buses and you must walk or ride a bicycle next to cars traveling 40-60 miles per hour

Elgin is great. Still a great place to live even though it did not make this list. I’d still consider it.
