How do o know if I need to add refrigerant, is it because cooling is less and ac unit run continually. My ac unit runs quite often these days but cool air is coming thru. Any other criteria to determine if needed to add refrigerant . Recently evaluator coil has ice build up all across it and water build up on furnace . I thawed it and now works fine. But would like to know how can I determine if ac is refrigerant low and needs to add. Also from which online store we can buy R410a. Do I need epa license to buy and try yo fill the sc unit . Technical is asking for 150-180 per ton to add refrigerant
