After graphite powder etc I find it comes off when handling. Have you found a way to clear coat guns afterwards which retains the look but protects the finish? Great video!

If you want to use trash bags what you can do is use a small kitchen torch to seal the parts together. I don’t know if this would work for tarps.

hey man, I just found your video, awesome technique! I’m working on a project that is about 36” x 12” vacuum formed acrylic or similar plastic. Do you know if your technique be applied on top of a painted surface?

Cool suit and no tarps are not tyvek that’s actually a paper like material made by the DuPont company. I have a lot of experience making clothes from plastic and tarp. Unfortunately the woven tarps quickly fall apart because it’s woven. Even a good cross laminated tarp will eventually fall apart but last a lot longer. Still love the suit.

Great job! Looks amazing. Just a tip for the future, the ‘backpack’ part of the hazmat suit is only present if you are using SCBA (mask with oxygen tank attached to your back) with the suit.
