We got a notification a couple of weeks after the semester finished regarding clinicals. I will have mine on Fridays (time is unknown) 08/30/24 - 09/27/24. I think I will have an additional rotation later on in the Fall semester because for block 2, we have a total of 8 clinical rotations. Usually, clinicals are just once a week.

Thank you!! 💛 Yes the PrepU’S saved my butt! Lol I also did practice questions from the test bank books. You can usually find the PDF versions on the internet. They go along with our books and give the correct answers, occasionally, you will run across a couple questions from the test bank books that the professor may use on quizzes or exams!! :)

Hi @bookbunni ! Certain community colleges offer the concurrent enrollment program I don’t know which states exactly, but I do know Arizona does with the Maricopa community colleges. The BSN classes are a lot easier compared to the ADN classes. The BSN classes at Arizona State University are simple, there is just a lot of reading and writing that is involved. I’ve maintained a 4.0 GPA at ASU. :) The actual core nursing classes that I take at my community college are a lot more challenging. I just finished this semester and ended with a 83.4% which is considered a letter C grade. :)

Hi! They do give the option to opt out, you would sign a declination form. I didn’t have the Covid vaccine either.. but decided to just get it only because IF we didn’t have the vaccine we could have got turned down for our clinical… or so they say. @@BrittanyJanelle did you take your science courses online with MCC? If so was it difficult? I’m so nervous to transition to online classes this fall as I finish my prerequisites.

@@Broccoli22_ I took them online but at PC . I liked online classes because it was more convenient for me and I was able to work at my own speed to a certain extent.

Did you ever have to take the teas7? I am wondering how similar the teas and the hesi are if you’ve taken both

⁠@@bballvr47I haven’t taken the teas. I would imagine they are somewhat similar. Maricopa Nursing does not test for science which is good considering some schools do test for science as well. 😊

Also, the waitlist has dropped dramatically. 1-2 semester wait right now.

@@amberbrown8051 I’m trying to apply but live out of state. They told me it’s currently 2-3 semesters
