Hobby Lobby what’s the point of this ad? May I suggest you stay in your lane….your avid followers seem to be falling away from your new look and feel when shopping at your stores. I am concerned your Christian values may be on the chopping block next? I pray you will listen intently to the people who shop in your Hobby Lobby stores….their words speak volumes!!!

There is absolutely nothing about this new Hobby Lobby ad that I like….NOTHING!

Home goods are fine, but it was a hobby store with crafting supplies since its inception. I lived In Oklahoma City and shopped in the first store opened. I find every time I come into the store there are less and less crafting/sewing supplies and more home goods. I would like to see more of what I shop Hoppy Lobby for, and it isn't sheets, kitchenwares or lamps. I shop Target, Marshalls, and Homegoods for those items

6 of the 11 scenes I counted are a bedroom. That’s literally the last space I think about when I think of Hobby Lobby. Is this about food? Home decor? Where are the adorable kids making unique things. Mom’s creative gifts or magical birthdays? History nerds creating detailed models? Grannies making heirloom pieces for their family? Needle crafts are 90% of why I shop at Hobby Lobby! It’s in the store’s name!! Where is the depiction of hobbies anywhere in this?! I love the ‘Make It!’ theme, but then it doesn’t show anything but rearranging and adding ready made pieces. It’s a fun ad, but doesn’t represent what I know and love about Hobby Lobby.

Not one thing in here says Hobby Lobby. I agree. Looks more like Home Goods.

Always look forward to the Beautiful messages that Hobby Lobby sends in commercials, this one was a little busy, not really sure what to make of it, I love going in the store & looking @ all the nice things, I don't do craft, but there is always something there I need!

OMGoodness, this is waaay out of the typical HL marketing demographics. Boo on you HL, do better! PLEASE DO NOT bend to the marketing styles of the world. I fear you will lose many of your long term, loyal followers w all the extras.☹️ Hope your marketing dept reads every single comment here & learns from them.

I AGREE!!! Wrong move Hobby Lobby! I was in your store every week and its been almost 4 weeks now. NO GOOD PRICES, Stock is awful and less of what you use to offer. The layout is worse! You lost a great customer. VERY DISAPPOINTED.

Better focus on what your customers want. I love Hobby Lobby and I love HomeGoods. Try to keep them separate.

HOBBY Lobby is one of my favorite stores. Don't change it. Stay with HOBBY store as the name says.

Hobby Lobby changed hands and you can tell. Their commercials used to have heartfelt messages in them and now it just looks like they are collecting ESG money. Not the same store and disappointing.

Hobby Lobby has always been the best place to get craft and art supplies. Adding Home goods into the mix just doesn't appeal to me. We desperately need a good craft store, not another place to buy sheets, towels etc. I hope Hobby Lobby will reconsider this.

Crafts are what Hobby Lobby is known for. Being able to go to the physical store purchase such items was mentally emotionally physically good for many of the customers. Now the store is a Bed and bath, not crafts. Sad and disappointed in the merchandizer people.

I love it. Artsy, bright & upbeat! I had fun picking out the Hobby Lobby items in each shot - I appreciate all the unique decorative items as well as the great selection of crafts. My home IS what I make it & it's full of Hobby Lobby happiness!

This a home decor ad, no doubt about it, and in that genre it's a good ad. I'm old enough to remember when fabric stores sold mostly fabrics and sewing notions, but as years progressed they started pushing in more home decorating items; lamps, ceramic pieces, etc. Sewing items were less and home decor items were more. Craft stores, went the same way. I don't mind home decorations as a side note in crafting stores, but when they start pushing out the craft and art supplies, then their whole criteria needs rethinking. I mean this to be a constructive comment, and I hope that is how it comes across. Probably less people were crafting and more people wanted things that were already made and ready to display, but I think this is changing and people are beginning to go back to wanting to create things more. I could be wrong. In all fairness this is a "hobby" store, and I suppose decorating could be considered a hobby. But, as I said earlier, the ready made home decor niche has been taking over many dyi stores for the last 40 years.

I agree with the other comments I've seen. I can buy towels and lamps at any number of retail establishments. What I can't find just anywhere are good quality craft supplies with a wide selection in store. I live near one if the smaller stores that already didn't have the selection available at other stores and now that selection is shrinking. Please rethink this decision!

I do not like the direction this store has taken AT ALL. It's always been my go to spot for sewing, stitching, crocheting, decorating and crafting. Now I see departments shrinking to make way for this stuff that has nothing whatsoever to do with hobbies and crafting. Get rid of all this junk and bring back what the store has always stood for.

As long as hobby lobby continues to keep up with all the art supplies we need. They can put whatever they want in their store. I just walk to what I am looking to purchase, get what I need and check out. Someone else may want the household things. Let them shop for that. Our store is big enough for both.

I’m from OKC the headquarters are here and I’d like to say to our hometown owners that no one I know is happy with the changes. Sheets and towels and comforters? We don’t need more home goods. It’s your choice, of course, but I miss the old Hobby Lobby.

It is sad to watch Hobby Lobby, turn into a home goods type of store. Are they going to change their name too? Because it is not a hobby store like it used to be. The only other major hobby store around here is Michael’s and I don’t go there anymore, because they have basically turned into the same kind of store Hobby Lobby has. Only less adult crafts and more home decor and children’s crafts it seems. There are many people who have hobby’s and not only love to create, but need to create, to keep their sanity! Unfortunately….as a result of these decisions by these craft stores, I am finding that I have to order online. And I know I’m not the only one. Get ready people…the way things are going these days, more and more stores will have to close down because consumers will be shopping more online. Which is really sad for businesses. And for customers, it’s sad because we won’t be able to physically go into stores….touch and look at the items in person. Which is part of the fun in life.

I agree with some of the others. I thought that it was a clothing commercial, and then the commercial went on to clutter filled rooms and cooking. I would like to see a more succinct commercial, to have a more direct view of what I should expect from the store. Too much clutter.

Did hobby lobby get sold to a woke company because this is not hobby lobby and they don't play Christian music anymore when you go in so you don't have a nice fuzzy feeling and wonder why.. set alarm from what happened to bed bath & beyond.

I love Hobby Lobby as an art place where we can find everything when needed when it comes to projects ~ they have endless items for any project out there ~ hope they leave it the way it is. We finally have gotten a Hobby Lobby in my area😀

WHY ELIMINATE IT FOR THINGS EVERYONE ELSE IS CARRYING. BIG MISTAKE FOR SURE. YOU USED TO BE MY CRAFT STORE FOR EVERYTHING I NEEDED FOR PAPER CRAFTING, AND DRAWING AND PAINTING. NOW I HARDLY EVER GO. BUT LEAVE THE CRAFTING STORE TO BE YOUR CRAFTING STORE. This store was just a pleasure to shopping what happened to it?? Another home goods no way. You're losing a lot of customers whats going on who ever is taking over the store is messing it up. So sad.
