This video gave me headache

Well now i'm even more hyped up to play for the first time!

FF 13 was my first FF. I loved aspects of it, like the music and characters but, after ten hours, gave up. Over a decade later, I gave the entire trilogy a shot, and it became one of my favorite FF of all time!

It had some amazing character and overall art designs. Felt like a major major event in gaming back when it came out. Plus the soundtrack was a solid 10. Gameplay was the weakest part of the game easily. Just small linear corridors with some battles which aren't that great. Still good fun overall.

Great game. Great video. Almost didn't reach ending E due to the really long title sequence which seems to repeat in an unending cycle which fits with the game's ideas closely enough that you think it will never end by design. I did accidentally end up putting 9S in a dress and couldn't work out how to change back. Awkward... I had to think of him as a page boy.

Any other answer bwsides Yes! is incorrect! 😂❤ it has a few flaws, but its got enough heaet and playability to last forever

There's only two ways to play it: 1. On PS1 on a CRT (it looks horrible otherwise, no matter what version you play) 2. On PC with all the HD mods

I currently am playing through it at the moment. At launch, this killed my love for Final Fantasy which I wouldn’t get back till 15. I haven’t played 11, 12, or 14 to this day and I hope to give them a try at some point. Back then, I was looking for something different from Final Fantasy and this didn’t deliver nor connect with me. Present day, I’m enjoying my play through. I’m on chapter 5 and I hope to finish the Lightning trilogy.

This soundtrack was on repeat when I was in middle school. I was a huge orchestra nerd so all the strings always intrigued me. I started playing this game again and have been loving it! Especially now that I understand it more with my adult brain.

I’m just now touching this game as i type this. I bought a used ps4 and this came with. . I haven’t played a final fantasy since 9. It’s not what I expected. But I can’t put it down 😆

Can this game be played as a stand alone or do i need to play 13 first?

That combat system seems lame and weak. I just can’t bring myself to buy the game with that combat system.

I feel like Nier is even more relevant now with the rise of AI. I think a lot of philosophical discussions you can have in Nier can also be applied IRL, especially now. Also with the recent AAA flops, this game is such a nice reminder that we don't need gigantic open worlds and cutting edge graphics to have a life-changing experience in a game.

I bought this game when it came out, played 15 minutes of it, then returned it to the store. Forgot about it from then until this moment.

I didn't think FF-15 was flat-out awful... but I'd take FF-13 anytime, any day over 15

Can’t wait to play this again for the 5th time. It’s been so long but I still feel the same way as the first time with the opening cinematic. I literally 💩 my pants when I first saw it. After that moment I couldn’t stop putting it down

here in 2024 I play until chapter 3 and I can say it's still worth it, no matter you know the story or blind, as long as you play it yourself is worth it

That chocobo racing just to get Tidus weapon is eff me to this day.

The arranged version scalps the drums and percussion. Seymour fight specifically is lackluster arranged.

I played this and as soon as I completed it I thought “well that was a game I played”. Didn’t hate it but it was just…..a game. Shame.

It’s my first play through or sort of second but I dropped it after a few hours on release……I really like it a lot now and I think for a modern day RPG it still does it now better then it did back then. I like the pace, I like graphics and I’m getting used to the battle system and kind of liking it a lot so far Glad I played it now and not back then.

I mean don't get me wrong I like 13 -2 but the way you put down 13 so aggressively and then sing the praises of this one like it's a Renaissance is crazy to me you talk like 13 story with some Shakespearean unintelligible tale and it really wasn't you said the characters in 13 are unlikable but I like them significantly more than 13 - 2 The story in 13-2 is so hard to follow it bounces around in all sorts of different ways and is incoherent at sometimes until the end game where you attempt to put some sort of a story together Sarah is one of the most bland female protagonist Noel kind of holds the story together she pales in comparison to vanille, fang and lightning I like caius a lot I think he's really cool especially with his story with Yule and the connections to Noel but I don't know this just seems a little too much I'm glad there's another person out there who likes the 13 series but I feel like you're ignoring a lot of this game's flaws but to each their own.

I really liked the job system and the more dynamic feel of the battle system. The tone of the game was too goofy for me though and I did not think the story was all that good. I still played through it when it was new but I doubt that I would now have the patience to sit through the lackluster story.

The only thing that sucks is that only the series x and I think ps5 can run this game at 60 fps

I hated ff13-2. Mostly because I played the pc version and the HD mods, Fix mods, etc. just would not work. Also, for anyone who may not know, the pc port of FF13-2 is known to be a terrible port. But at least I beat the game.

I actually like this game even though the story can be confusing and the time mechanic isn't my favorite.

Lightning Returns is my personal favorite in the trilogy which i think is an quite unpopular opinion but something just clicked with me in that game. i love the new combat even though i also think the old one was really good. The time aspect didnt really bother me because one of lighting skills (idk what is called i think chronostasis) freezes the timer for quite a bit und u can infinitely chain it so i was finished with almost every sidequest after 4 ingame days even though i played it blind.
