If science wouldn’t have evolved, white people probably would’ve either evolved to be more resistant to lead or die off because of lead poisoning given how much the Victorian Era leaned on it
Okay NOW I understand that song by Blackbriar - My Soul's Demise 😲

Oh wow!!
They were often also orphaned children who had no other way of making a living. These people were also abused in other ways as well. Another group that would do this job were ill people.
😂
😂😂 oh noo… at least they were learning
On god they loved that stuff
"Are you stiff yet?" ...a silent yes.
Interesting
Ima tell you this much. When I was a kid in the 60’s and 70’s they had a medicine called Paragoric. It wasn’t prescription but you had to sign for it and the Pharmacist kept it behind the counter. If you had a stomach flu, there was nothing better to stop those stomach cramps and nausea and diarrhea. It was wonderful and you usually only needed a dose or two. They eventually stopped making it. I hate that I had to raise my kids without it, because it was never replaced with anything that worked remotely as good. I recently found out that it contained 30% opium. It’s a shame they threw the baby out with the bath water. Opium works in certain sicknesses better than anything to relieve misery and pain, but because it was abused we can’t have it now at all. They’ve gotten us so that there’s almost nothing you can get for pain that really works, so people are resorting to street drugs.
Great song
so it worked got ya
That say opium ? Alcohol and opium ????
Where do I find it again?
Instead of just one thing, everything will become stiff...
This is amazing. Human mind is astounding
I mean, if you have no throat, there's no sore throat 🤪
People in Victorian era surely prefer to die smelling good 😂
I love the song choice!
Those aren't Victorian shoes...
Oh lord
Were they confused because the packaging were too similar to what was available to people at the time for baking sodas?
It was a broader issue with generic packaging. Mistakes happened :(
Give it 150 years and im sure there will be people talking about cellphones and the dangers of that make it usable.
The Victorian Era was a dangerous place 😳
Bella donna poisoning
But this is how they discovered atropine, which is used to this day to stop the progression of myopia. Mistakes are how we get scientific advancements
