Is that parking parking brake disconnect method similar on most cars and suv’s ? I have a seized brake somewhere and I’d like to disconnect the parking brakes first and see if the vehicle rolls before pulling off a wheel at a time to test each caliper.

Mine doesn't really smoke but I can smell oil behind the car and the exhaust tips are black I always have to top it off with a quart every 1500 miles. It has a new turbo so ik its not that my only concern is the valvetronic relearn for the n55.

Do you need to start up the engine when we're testing them?

Did you have problems after tensioning the balancer shaft this way? I done it the same way by pushing down on the pulley and have a noise at idle that I’ve pinpointed to the balance belt, are you sure that’s the proper way to tension it? Everything’s perfectly timed and I’m running a brand new auto oem timing belt tensioner so I know it’s not that. Saw another comment on this vid about the balance belt being too tight

Hi, I have a 2009 Lexus IS250 and the AC compressor has seized. I'm looking for a replacement but I'm confused about the part numbers. Lexus informed me that the original part number is 88320-3A300, but I've also seen references to models 6SEU16C and 6SBU16C on various websites. Can you clarify the differences and which one I should use?

Obviously easier, less time consuming and inexpensive to install a different/new calliper for those who's running a business but theres a few reasons some of us do DIY like not having the money the internet is full of knowledge but without the experience it sometimes seems worthless

beau résultat ,j' ai fais une 206 pour ma fille , même problème mais soudure meulées et moins de mastique mais surtout j' ai soyer la tole pour reproduire l' arête et la forme et blaxoner avant de faire le raccord peinture, la je refais les tubulure de freins en cuivre pour le ct et ma fille l' aura des qu' elle aura son permis , bientôt ,il ne sert a rien de critiquer, chacun fait de son mieux et l, important est de le faire et le résultat,

Good video but you should leave the bottom bolts in loose when taking the tops off so it doesn't drop on you by accident plus it takes the strain off the top bolts

Do you really need to tighten the nuts with torque settings? Can't you just tighten them really tight?

This is a good patch job to get rid of a car or last a couple of years. This is NOT a permanent, professional repair for many reasons. However It still takes a lot of skill to do a patch job. That steel on the top of that patch was very thin and you can see it burn through, that won't hold up.

Atleast it’s under the hood. 10th gen is under the backseats. I’m dreading replacing it

mine was smoking white only when deaccelerate, is it the same problem (valve stem seals) or anything else? the oil consumption is about 1L / 1000km :(
