Are the Amazon team driving paying decent?
Smart people
Just bought a 99 classic with a n14 celect plus. The truck is a beast
Too much talking just please try to get to the point !!
All that room and your still bitchin.
Plenty in Iowa Nebraska Kansas
Hey Pinoy! Following up on this! Ever heard of the Truckstop load board? We have a partnership proposal for you! Mind sending us a good contact email for us to connect with? 😀
Can you use a box truck smaller than 26’?
You have all the room in the world 🤷♂️ just turn around and back in 2 moves tops 😎
Hey Pinoy all you is power loads I want more info and are you renting that cr England trailer
When i found out about PC i though i could deadhead all tge way backnto my home, which can be considered a terminal. I found out different. You can only PC back to a terminal that you picked up a load from. I belive the rule goes. But I'm not sure when bobtailing; after a delivery. More crazy rules.
Nice and quiet. No roosters. 😮😊😅😅
That rock formation, I believe, in geology, is called a "sincline", where the continents collide.
How does anyone know their brake is cold. A violation is rediculous. That should be a fix it ticket
Agreed. Short runs must pay more. Yeah, you must include deadhead.
What do they call that? Click Bait!
Have you ever discussed your camera set up?
I have mentioned it previously. My main camera is a Sony FX3. I might make a video dedicated to it in the future.
Thermal imaging makes sense because they have something similar on the railroads to see when wheel bearings on RR cars get hot and can cause a derailment. This is how they figured out the cause of that big chemical spill derailment a year or 2 ago in Ohio or somewhere back in the midwest. It was the one all over the news.
I remember that. That would be a good technology for that. It surprised for sure and made me a little nervous hahaha.
Glider trucks with no emissions are the best…especially with Detroit 60 series…maybe you don’t get 8.2 mpg….but at least 7.2 is way better that sitting at shop fixing emissions, over and over…plus extra money for urine to put into the crap..I mean stuff 😂😂😂😂 Plus those Detroit old engine, could take just about any diesel fuel…as long is not bio fuel or alcohol water diesel fuel…whatever you want to call it. A N14 Cummins could give you one of the life time satisfaction….probably it will run between 1 to 2 million miles with major overhaul.
I agree. I saw a cascadia with a n14 swap for a good price but engine had problems. I didn’t know what’s been done to that engine so I didn’t want to risk it.
GOOD PRICE 😂😂😂 That probably because has big issues…a good glider cost good money….but you get a good truck. If you hunt for a bargain for a good glider….I wish you good luck….especially for those engines built before 2000.
The glider is a scam come on man dont show people that
Haha,,that glider probably has 1158000 miles on it.....😂😂😂
Could be lol. It was actually a scam hahaha
Where you getting a trailer for 7000 to 10000
If you look around Facebook market and Facebook group that sells used equipment. There are plenty out there. Truck paper has some. Really they’re everywhere. I’m not saying has to be pretty just needs to do the job and be DOT compliant.
I'm curious what's your score on amazon?
At the moment it’s 88.5 C+ not really that great hehehe
Ask Jake Clyde d truckr boss.. add him in
Never heard of him. Just looked him up. Nice…
All the hype about autonomous trucks but I have not seen the technology put into a “backing device”. Just think: a 3-device kit that gives you a device to put on the trailer bumper (clamp or magnet) and one in the cab and the third on the dock. It would guide you back or rotate the steering wheel for you. Once in place the equipment provider would signal approval and be responsible for the backing procedure. We have parallel parking cars.
Great information. You have a great mind for business and a wealth of industry knowledge. You'll do VERY well. I haven't driven in over a decade, but you make it tempting to get back on the road. Keep up the great work and content!
@pinoy trucking. Hey been following you for a while now and I’ve valued your contents. Wanted to contact you by email but couldn’t find one.. so I am interested in being an owner operator. Have been researching and driving for Amazon as a tomy driver and as a hostler in the yard for the last 2 years.. would appreciate your advice/suggestions. Thanks.
I love your channel my brother. I’m always looking forward to your next upload. I know it’s your experience and opinion as a power only but IMO you’re totally wrong with Power Only. I am doing so well in PO. There is money to be made out here and to be honest PO I think is the best option. I’m making $3+ on my loads and saving from trailer expenses also paying for parking. For anyone watching don’t be discouraged by this video. There is money out here. Everyone’s experience and situation is different. Looking forward to your next video
Thank you for your input and support. I think there’s definitely $$$ in PO. I was actually gonna make a video about it. Just a click bait really :-)… I agree there’s definitely ways to make it happen with PO. GL out there I’m glad you’re doing good.
@@pinoytrucking hahaha I see. Thanks bro! You too and drive safe.
I believe your rad fan is on as long as your A/C is on.
Should only turn on while momentarily while AC is on but shuts off after. It will also come on when coolant temp hits certain temperature then turns off after the normal operating temp is achieved.
Talking about the trailers was very confusing. You talk about Dorsey trailers looking at a CR England trailer which trailer is Dorsey, which is the other trailer you mentioned.
Sorry… I didn’t have enough context I guess. I bought a trailer a few backs and it took a few repairs and adjustments just to get it rolling properly. It was a 53ft stepdeck trailer
Yes they stay busy, I've been there a bunch of times.
How many trucks do have running Amazon?
I only have 1 truck
@@pinoytrucking I've been trying to find someone to go back running Amazon. Switched to OTR and it has been nothing but problems from junk equipment to not being valued as a driver...
Backing: first two pull-ups are a free pass, the 3rd one is reserved for the perfectionist, once you go pass 3, you get an audience 😅, with advice! 😂
Hahaha so true lolz
Do you recommend buying used or new equipment?
New If you can, less headaches
I agree. New if you can. If you’re mechanically inclined. I say look around the auctions. Preferably known mega carrier previous units such as Walmart Ryder etc. make sure you’re able to see the equipment physically.
I'm new to your channel. Have you ever leased your equipment onto a carrier? How'd that go? Or just strictly spot market?
I have leased onto someone before. It was someone I met through trucking. Small company but the owner had no idea what he was doing. That’s why I got tired and just opened my own. When you leased onto someone, every carrier has a different approach to it. Depending on if their working spot market or have some type of contracts. I would find someone who has customers and not just rely on spot market IMO.
@@pinoytrucking What do you think about Landstar / Mercer?
Amazon In Columbus area is like Uber people sit at Amazon wearhouse and do short moves all night
Hahaha so true
Hey I really enjoyed your videos. It's very interesting. How'd it go in Vegas?
Vegas is good. Just like everywhere else really. Very sporadic. Roller coaster ride.
Amazon has a airport outside Columbus and a big airport outside Cincinnati big hub area like Charlotte
That makes sense why is so busy.
How do you get in with Amazon they built a warehouse about 15 miles from my house in republic mo
Look back a few videos I made a brief video about it.
Pull up the amazon load board for Nashville, TN I wanna see if it’s worth signing up for
Will do next video. I think it’s worth the extra 50K interchange in your insurance. I’m already at over 20K gross for the year with Amazon and we got the holiday coming up.
Do you drop at a specified parking spot. Or can you drop it anywhere on the lot?
They assign you a spot to put the trailer at check in.
How's you backing?
You tell me check last video :-)
R u solo driving?
Solo only not enough space for 2 people hahaha
Like the content brother... Like your creativeness on how you run keeping it real with the numbers and on what you doing...Reminds me on what I been doing... I'm located in SOCAL Fontana area and you'll catch me doing a little bit of everything from stacks of chassis, flatbed, dryvan, towaways, loadouut trailers, containers and for the past few days Amazon...lol...There rates aren't that great but who's are right now... Last 3 days i made $4877.67 running amazon in a 75 mile radius and will hit 6k by the end of my day today and out of that it'll be about $1200 in CA fuel and I'll still have left over fuel to start with on Monday... What I'm looking forward to is some of them oversize heavy loads but the only thing is trying to find that consistent freight with being able to go home... Be safe and keep up the good work and great content...
Thank you brother… Those are some amazing number with Amazon. Thats why I tell people all the time. Sign up with Amazon and just run them when they’re busy. Yeah I’m trying to figure that out myself. Make $$$ and still be within the house.
Brush stop booking off the relay load board I have box trucks eating better than semi send me your email I'll send you proof and how to actually book loads
