    Good One..!! But don't you think that loading an unloading of those gears will additionally increase the process time, and deburring being a non value adding process (in comparison to gear cutting/milling) this parameter is to be seriously considered. Also you didn't state any thing, whether it is manual loading or automatic loading of the part on the clamping surface.. thanks..

    @pmgodfrey You must of watched a different video than me. A certain amount of backlash is essential for a proper gear mesh, depending on the gear type/size of teeth. Try running a ring and pinion too close together or too far apart and see what happens.

    nice video, i work in caterpillars bevel gear department. caterpillar is trying to get away from using roll test mechines and use Klingenbergs. personally i think the new technology compliments the roll testing and gives redundancy to quality checks.

    I knew it was important to control backlash, but I had no idea the lengths some go to in order to eliminate it as much as possible.
