I don’t think that PRR went the whole way to Indiana. The Pennsy did have access to Indiana from the south (up from blairsville); if you’re ever on 119 between black lick and homer city, the “Hoodlebug Trail” is the former PRR/PC line to Indiana.
The line i think goes to Glen Campbell but idk about anyplace farther than that. Hoodlebug i figured was PRR from Blairsville north.

Haven't been back to the tunnel in awhile. Nice quiet spot but always worth the hike in. Looks like NS did some work on the bridge since my last time there.

Many Many Cherokees made here in Vero Beach, FL. Back in the 70s they were cranking out about 15 per day. Piper is still here and making really cool fast airplanes.

Thank you for posting this! As a long time NASCAR Cup hopeful and railfan, this up close shot is good for me in my planning to film and watch trains at this crossing someday. I'm also pleased to see the fencing there for fan safety. The number of articulated autoracks is a nice touch. I get autorack trains once a day along the CSX bowline, but there aren't usually much articulated autoracks in them.

Ah.. Plummers Hollow. One of my favs. I walked up on the old Lewisburg n Tyrone Bridge. Got a few pics from there. Only bad thing there is you lose good light early cuz of the mountain. Got 3 HU's in an hour one day. Good times.
Yeah the light isn't good as the time. I got up on the bridge once but didn't go far cuz the ties didn't look too good lol. No death wish
