Yep stayed on it recently, i agree the shower needs an upgrade and be more powerful, i got a free upgrade to balcony which was nice although like you it seemed to be missing the luxury look of a yacht because of the metalwork maybe it could do with some sort of covering to complement the interior, but everything else was great for me and i would definitely go back.

Fantastic review , we are staying here pre travel day in December . Booked stay 1 night park for 8 for £376 including breakfast which isn’t that bad to be honest . Looked lovely and glad we made the night choice . Subscribed now as your a lovely couple and presented this so well , Thankyou. Ps I had a look at your play list and did you know I worked for the daily telegraph in Canary Wharf for almost 15 years and every night I would drop the daily telegraph off at the sunborn yacht hotel , I went on this the first night it opened way back lol

There’s a Hilton and Holiday inn attached to T4 and a Hilton Garden Inn adjoining T2/3 so not the only hotel attached to the airport.

This is the first review I've come across about this hotel. I'm on my 30th stay there in four weeks time, and over the years have accrued Platinum Status with the All Accor Group. If I pay for a classic room, I automatically get upgraded to the same room type as you stayed in plus I get automatic lounge and spa access for free. If I stay in a Prestige Suite, and I'm on my third stay in that room category this year, all drinks in the mini bar are free including alcohol, so they come to my destination with me. I also receive a free Welcome Drink in the bar or restaurant due to my status, so it's worth joining All Accor if you fly out off Heathrow as I do, but just for leisure purposes. I also receive extra amenities such as chocolates and high end bottles of water in my room,. The staff even made a ganache birthday cake free of charge for my nieces birthday when we stayed there last year. It's the little touches that I am impressed with and continue to book rooms there. If you use points, you can stay there for practically nothing. Thanks for sharing this video and getting me into holiday mode for 4 weeks time.
