I have shown sheep for 7 years now and raised sheep for 6. I have spent countless sleepless nights, early mornings, late nights, blood, sweat, and tears, and not once did I ever think of quitting. I plan to go to NOC and participate in their show team and then go to OSU to graduate with at least a bachelor's to help the future FFA and 4-H kids improve their livestock and any home raised all while breeding sheep on the side because that is how much I love it.

They took the over the counter medicines off the shelf. Why did they do that? Answer....student loan debt. Now we have to go to the vet to get the common medicine for our pets. Albon is not on the snelf anymore. Corid is still available and you can use on your pets. Works well. Pulling Albon off should be a crime. How many pets have died since they did that?

Just a little FYI everybody. Never mention bloody diarrhea in any way shape or form while on a first date.

More information could be added, such as: -The bloat can be seen as the abdomen extends to the left side of the animal from gas or froth buildup (it will be significantly more than the right) -There are two types of bloat, froth and gas bloat can both be deadly to the animal if the case is extreme enough. Froth buildup is more likely seen in show cattle. Gas buildup is more often seen when there is a sudden change of diet. -A VERY IMPORTANT bit of preventative measure of bloat would be to always have a gradual introduction to a change of feed (such as when changing to high grain diet to eating lots of lush grass). -This is often a problem in the spring when cattle have been kept in a barn eating grain all winter and are let out to suddenly eat lots of spring green in a field. Gradual diet change is always important.

I think this is so true. I only show chickens and a horse right now, but I will probably be doing catch-a-calf in a couple years. We will sacrifice a lot for our animals. Despite my impressive past I always want to set a role mottle for the younger kids because every show is different and I still have to work hard to matter what. I do have to say family does always come first. But the fact about our market animals is that someone should come film as we say our goodbyes or the next morning. I was a mess after sale because of my empathy for my chickens.

Is there an episode on the difference between grooming market and breeding goats for the show ring? Because I know grooming is different for the 2!
