I think the exhaust exits fit the road race vibe and won’t drag on the ground like most of my Vdubs 🤙.
Watching you hold up the pipes and trying to work out the design, then tack it, can be tedious and took me back to my last exhaust. Love the x pipe, i just put one in my boys r36 wagon...nice work mate!

Hi Cody, what a mamut taks to build that exhaust system, how many hours did you put into it ? The chrome end pipe where awesome in the rear fender. Keep up the good work...

Gihas are cool cars. My buddy had one years ago. Lots of great times. We went for burgers in December in Nova Scotia. Cause it was a nice day. It bad -27C. So you can imagine how warm it was inside the car. lol.

You think that small radiator will be enough for the 6 cylinder?
Not 100% sure but we will find out if it heat soaks to much I have the car setup to be able to accept a larger radiator
Hose looks to be a Chevy Tahoe 5.3L upper radiator hose, we use them all the time for our LS swaps.
It might be that sounds about right I did do stuff on our Yukon a few years ago
Great purchases of tools. Both very useful. Radiator looks small, but great work as always.

That Honda radiator will provide enough cooling for that motor? Are you doing good vents, or just dumping the exhaust air underneath the car?
I’m not sure if the Honda radiator with be enough but the customer had already bought it we will see. There will be a lot of venting up front as well as a hood exit vent that will create a suction on the backside of the radiator

Very COoL 🐧 Which reminds me (I did try to check your other videos but..) where about is the location of the RAD planned? I know that's a HOT topic. I ask because I have no experience with Ghias and I find all of this --cavitating-- captivating. Like my last 3rd date If you get a chance.. or I'm sure I can find that info in a prior video works. Thank you very much I always run the radiator up front I tried the rear mount radiator in my ghia way back when and no matter what I did (ducting / fans / scoops) nothing seemed to keep it cool enough next video will be on the cooling system 👍

I think the only situation where it can be 'successfully' put in the rear is if the car was being built in prison No disrespect to the inmates. It's tough enough to keep one's COoL when it's front & center. I did get a decent look at a Ghia front end (1st time! in years) and I was uber impressed and daZzled with how LARGE those two air intakes are In one word; spec·tac·u·lar. Which begs the Q. How much fresh-air did Wolfsburg think we needed? I think Kennedy states = >1sq ft of area. Those combined has to be close <minus> the beauty grills? But I won't look a gift notchback in the mouth. I"m definetely suffering from vent-envy now. With such large vents that has to be about 50% of the "rubic's cube equation" solved right there?... Feel free to take this weekend off. You deserve it You RoCk!

How’s it going I’m not 100% sure on what ones Ryan ordered but they are plastic. They are most likely from Amazon or eBay possibly Mazda Miata flares

Loving this build mate. Fabulous attention to detail. I’m doing a similar build but 4 cylinder Scoob, aluminium pipes under the car too. You may find it semi interesting 😆
Sliding the (2) rear wheels "under" the car while it's jacked up is exactly what someone should do if they want to live to a ripe old age. 1000 brainy points awarded! What size heims do you use for the control arms?
So the front lowers are 5/8” heims and the top ones came as a kit I believe they are 1/2” and all the rear heims are 1/2” aswell

The bracket for calipper did get a big improvment much better.
Love the progress on this, keeping me motivated for mine. What hubs and calipers does this one have?
I’m not 100% sure on the hat and rotors he supplied them but the calipers are 4 piston wilwood I’ll see if I can find the box for the part number 👍
So part number on the caliper is #120-4937-p
The rotor hats are actually custom machined original VW rotors

Thank you so much really means a lot!! As far as tires the fronts are 225/45r15s on a 15x 8” wheel and rears are 275/50r15s on a 15x 10” wheel
