WOW! I remember riding the Texas Chief to Oklahoma City as a child.
If they need a drummer. I learned from Henry Blaha in Chicago
My roots! Love this.
Magnificent !
Magma Arizona #5 (Built by American Locomotive Company’s Dunkirk Shops in 1922) operating at the Galveston Railroad Museum in Galveston, Texas back sometime around the 1980s as No. 555.
I wish 555 could run again and relettered back to it's original Magma Arizona railroad livery or it's Oregon Pacific and Eastern railroad livery
Good Lord that’s bad
Where did you get the sound effects you used in this video?
From a CD of train sounds I bought at a train show years ago. When I find it I will post the name of the company that produced it.
@@ejkvideo How interesting.
Saw them when they went to Brenham in November 2016. Took our Xmas card Pic with them. Just the way God and Lionel wanted it!!😮😅
Nice
That's what I'm wondering about to, where's it's tender!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The engine was slated to be put inside a museum but they did not leave room for its tender.Since the people had no use for the tender they sold it to a tourist RR in Utah. When the museum plans did not work out the Texas Railway Preservation Association took ownership of the engine, and will restore to operating condition. They have located a replacement tender and will be mated to the engine soon.
I don't know how any of you realized that they forgot the engine's tender, it needs it for all sorts of reasons!!!!!!!!!!!!
I don't know how any of you realized this but they forgot the locomotives tender, it need's it!!!!!!!!!!!!
I asked for the War Bonnet train set every Christmas when I was a kid, never got one, I absolutely loved that train and that's coming from a GNRY, Omaha orange and Pullman green fan!!
Pretty cool, I like the warbonnet paint scheme 😊😊
Remember kids, these used to be legal 😁
Mount it on your car 😏
This is awesome
This Is Great Seeing Texas State Road #500 ATSF
That was some time ago.
Moving at 5 mph, what a shame. These locomotives used to fly down the tracks over 100 mph from city to city I remember hearing the horn a mile away and the gates would go down and 15 seconds later the train would blast by so fast it was a blurr The passengers having a meal or drinks or taking in the sights as the train flew through towns
Hiw soon will y'all have her Tender down here in Texas? Heard y'all finally bought it for her?
Not till we have a good place to put it.
@@ejkvideo I have a place for y'all, Georgetown railroad is selling all of their trackage between Leander road and granger. 2 million. About 10, 15 miles of rail that 786 once ran on.
@@ChargerusPrime Thanks,good to know.
Texas & New Orleans locomotive, isn't it?
Yes
I can't wait to see her running
Santa Fe Warbonnets , one of the most iconic loco's of all time, and my all time favorite. I have some on my HO layout. I grew up in a RR town when steam was being phased.

The most beautiful engines ever built. It's great to see them in all their beautiful glory. Hats off to the men that helped bring these beauties back to life!!!!
