Thank you Dr. Sanz. How would one classify a case of interdental CAL in more than 2 non adjacent teeth but it is historical, no probing depths more than 3mm in any sites, and the patient has more than 10% bleeding sites? Is it going to be a case of gingivitis with stable periodontitis?

34 weeks pregnant here, have bad case of gingivitis. Can’t sleep at night for 2 nights, I try to sleep while sitting it prevents some of the pain. Please wash your teeth with sensitive brush and use mouthwash especially for gingivitis. Don’t try use some listerine because it will melt the flesh and cause bad reaction. It has a lot of alcohol which is not good for pregnancy and for gingivitis.

You made no mention of phase contrast microscopes or lab analysis of saliva samples which can find out many things that standard measuring of pockets doesn't tell you. I recently learned thru a phase contrast microscopic exam that I had a huge problem with amoebas. A lab analysis of saliva for 11 known bacterial periodontal pathogens found that I had at least 7 of the bad bugs they tested for.
