Oh good a march to cry out and repent that the Christian Nationalists are using Jesus name in vain and destroying our country? That we were lied to by Trump and his administration that Christians are under attack? To repent for our sins of hurting kids in out churches. To repent for losing our way? To repent for allowing authoritarianism to grow in our midst giving pastors the feeling they are greater than God and commit atrocities on their congregation? To pray and seek God for such a time as this that we can call out to save our democracy here in the US? To protect the strangers/foreigners from being deported to war torn countries to die. God commanded us to welcome the strangers as Abraham did for the Angel of the Lord. To help the weak and down trodden like the homeless and the poor. To visit those imprisoned currently treated as slaves. To help the widow/single mothers and their fatherless children. After all, Jesus did not want us to have power in politics. He wanted us to be His hands and feet. If we are busy doing the work he called us to do, then we are to busy to put billionaires into positions of power to strip our rights away, and enslave the homeless, poor and more Black Americans. That is their goal. Project 2025. Women not having the right to vote. Women stuck in marriages that are abusive because they are taking away no fault divorces. Women stuck at home with their children forced to give birth. They want yo take away the epidural, and other pain management methods from women. They want to end daycare and public education. They want women of color to die in child bareing since their risk is so high, a full on femicide. Are you OK with these changes? Are we calling out to God to stop a femicide? To stop mass deportation of American citizens who are not white? Praying to stop the abuse and trafficking of children by Christian Nationalists? For such a time as this, we are on a precipice of destroying our neighbors or loving them. Praying against the rise of a Theocracy is how we stop these abuses. A Theocracy is what Hitler used to rise to power. He used the church to get into power, killed 11 million people, burned books, forced people st not recognize certain types of people and those people fled or died in gas chambers. A Theocracy is what the Catholic church did in Europe when they mass murdered nations, burned all their books, and forced them to convert and stole their wealth. There is nothing noble in burning books, deporting people, making people homeless, forcing women to die from childbirth, forcing the imprisoned to be slaves, and supporting a convicted felon, rapist, and alleged pedophile for presidency. Jesus said Love your Neighbor and in so doing you show your love for God.
