I didn't need to, I had just rebuilt my carbs and factory settings worked perfect. If you are having issues it may benefit being slightly richer mixture.

The tank is under the rider seat, this early model has dummy tank. A year or two later the dummy tank was replaced by a small capacity tank which also fed the underseat tank.

My idle was fine, check for vacuum leaks around carb boots/joins etc. As for a bit ticky yes, most of the Triumphs I've owned have a slight tick sound.

I managed to pick up the compete rear subframe with plastics and lights, bolted straight on. It had a bit of a batman thing going on so found some matching mirrors!
