Behind the mic: Gayle King, Ziwe, and Mehdi Hasan on the art of the interview
Back in the day - with your Walter Cronkites and David Brinkleys - it felt kind of inappropriate for an interviewer to bring their full selves to the conversation. It was all about the guest, after all, so why bother bringing their own distinctive flairs?
But now, people tune in as much for the interviewer as the one being interviewed. And because of that, the experience feels much more authentic!
So today, you'll get to know three masters of the craft who each have their own distinct, but oh so compelling styles of asking tough, thought-provoking questions.

Ned Lamont and his buffoon Atty General William Tong have made Connecticut in to a police Terror State. Sad and disgusting.
I work at a pregnancy center so I’m very exited to share this with our clients. This research is so encouraging! TY.
West Haven’s Savin Rock? There’s barely 45 seconds of content, beginning around the 10:20 mark! What happened?
To my empty audience - ITS BEEN A HELL OF A RIDE!!!
Yep, people can have much sex as they want - JUST WEAR SOME CONDOMS, A REMINDER!😁😁👍👍👍😅😅😅🤗🤗🤗🤗🤔🤔🤔🤔
Yep, life is worth continuing due to the principle of achieving accolades of whatever sort. Meaning doing whatever you need to do and what's best for your life situation and circumstances.
Wear condoms guys! Simple as that
❤
Obviously they aren't going to talk about it and i respect it... But i still want them to talk about it. I thought they were both fame hungry enough to do a full apology tour, and maybe that "family night" cookbook might be when that happens, but i think for the sake of their kids it's really best to keep that off the Internet. I would not want my parents dirty laundry out for everyone to gawk at. ALSO! Lots of couples go through infidelity. Ned's a scumbag, yeah, but he's not the first person to be unfaithful.
I hope the dog’s ok?!?
Yes i remember doing pledge of alligeance in grammar school ..1950,60s...still cant spell very well
Also the species name for it is Amorphophallus titanum, named for its shape and size
I have smelled this flower and almost puked.
Nature is so cool!
i'd love to smell that flower once in my life
Most annoying, screechy voice ever. Immediately switch to another channel whenever she comes on. Sorry.
So it smells like durian?
Definitely not!
I love this one. Thank you for all that you do ❤
Just met this amazing man in person today in Caen, France. What an amazing experience. He barely quit working 6 months ago. Only a few months short of his 99th birthday. Thank you for your heroics, Sir ❤️🤍💙
Sooo excited!! Chrissy my husband just bought us tix for my bday Aug 10th to meet you & get the book too at Hotel VT. Thanks for coming up to VT!
🥰
This is so great!!!
WTF is this garbage? They're seriously trying to pretend that they are sooooo in love that he had to run off and cheat on her multiple times? Please find someone else to promote instead of this crap. No one cares about their stupid cookbook and the fact that they are so completely tone deaf in their marketing is just beyond sad.
People cant change?
@@damaygo1742 Sorry but I sincerely doubt that he has changed at all. He cheated multiple times, and was public about it. So obviously he did not actually care. and to promote a "date night" book when he was literally cheating on his wife while they wrote this is just in poor taste.
@@CaliMel184 Thank goodness you arent the arbiter of truth lol. People change
Didn’t he cheat on his wife?
💟🌸
Ali you are my hero. I look to heaven every time I discover your latest recipe and say THANK YOU!

Legal immigration and non-Legal immigration are two different things.
You wouldn't care so much about exisiting or not if you didn't exist. Just play your collection of games and feel free to bring new players to play games of their own.
Thank you for sharing this with all of us CZcamsrs that like this sort of stuff (architecture, interior design, horticulturist). All the best.
I was born and raised in Bridgeport and Stratford, CT. My parents being part of the Great Migration of black people leaving the South and moving to the North. I live in South Carolina now and trying to find out more about the slavetrade out of Charleston. This was wonderful piece. Excellent. 👏🏾

NICE! Thanks…..
I still don't understand why antinatalists keep relying on the existence of procreated humans when procreation is unethical. Antinatalists should live alone in the wild (doing all of their own work) when they don't want humans to procreate!
🌸
Not only do most people not give a single thought about the happiness of their potential baby, they don't even think about HAVING the baby in the first place...or about how it would feel about having its genitals mutilated. Most children are accidents. It sounds cold doesn't it. My mom told me I was an accident. I believe her.
I tend to advocate for responsible reproductive autonomy. in a lot of cases, adoption is more ethically viable option and more accessible to someone with tokophobia, however reproduction requires that you can ensure the autonomy of the child isn't violated and in a lot cases there are children who are born to purely serve a financial or power based goal and are basically puppets to their parent's whims. responsible reproductive autonomy also necessarily means fighting for youth liberation as you have to see the child as their own consciousness instead of an object to be controlled and much of society is built around reducing the autonomy of children to produce efficient little workers through the largely education-prison-drug-war-industrial complex. under an authoritarian structure, there is no liberation for youth and there for no way to avoid the serious traumas that come with growing up due to the massive power imbalances between children and adults. they are largely dominated due to their lack of life experience and are seriously exploited for profit. in a noncoercive healthy setting, child birth becomes more ethical. under capitalism, it is far more ethical to help people struggling with the adoption system. then again there should not be authoritarian actions being taken to remove the right to reproductive autonomy due to violating bodily autonomy. considering the possiblities of immortality also changes the conversation because in a situation of immortal beings, child birth within a single planet would probably be somewhat less ethical if humans were to reach of the carrying capacity of the planet. I guess I'm conditionally antinatalist but pro bodily autonomy in most cases.
Propaganda
Hey! Here's black people complaining.
You cant be a nihilistic antinatalist. These are 2 different counter philosophy. One sees meaning to life, one does not.
But isn't the point that since life for the average individual is meaningless and won't mean anything hundreds of years after they're gone anyways, wouldn't they both work in a way?
@TheGoldenPlatoon757 no because meaning is derived by the sensation experience. You cant derive any meaning if you could not experience sensations (being hungry would be meaningless if there were no negative consequences. In 100 years from now even if you are no longer alive good and bad sensations will still matter and be just as important. So nihilism is very useless while antinatalism or efilism recognizes the meaning of life.
