Yomi's last name is an anomaly in my tribal language, Kpelle of Liberia, the largest tribe in the country. If you publicly call his name, "Tokoya", in any Kpelle village or town, you would definitely incur some type of penalty or rebuke. "Tokoya" literally means "pe--s water": sperm or urine. "Toko" = pe--s; "Ya" = water.😃😃

It is only in Nigeria were Genocidist are celebrated and decorated. It more reasons why your people are least humanized because your history teaching are full of people with questionable and genocidal character. Adekunle is one of them. What a country.

There was a significant divide between General Abacha and Lt General Diya. Major General Bamaiyi took advantage of this divide to promote the idea of a coup. When examining history, it is clear that most successful coups in Nigeria were either planned or thwarted by the serving or subsequent heads of the Army, such as Ironsi, Gowon, Babangida, and Abacha. So, if the Chief of Army Staff informs you that the General Officers Commanding are prepared in a highly politicized Nigeria Army of the 90s, it could be extremely risky to align with the Commander-in-Chief, whom you rarely speak to or consult on state matters. Lt General Malu's stance seems somewhat unfair here. "In the military system" - the same Nigeria Army😮... that was plagued with insubordination and coups, where a Major as early as 1966, once arrested the Supreme Commander, a group of Lieutenant Colonels approached their superiors that Gowon’s time was up, where a Major and a Lieutenant shot down the Commander-in-Chief in broad daylight, a group led by a Major attacked the residence of the Commander-in-Chief with a mission to eliminate him, and many other examples that could be listed here, but for time and space… Once again, I can see the Chief of Army Staff making every effort to defend his constituency. It was a mess in 1999. Rest in Peace, General. I understand what you were trying to accomplish.

Will you guys stop saying Major Chukwuma Nzegwu. The correct name is Chukwuma Nze-Ogwu which is totally different in meaning from Nze-Gwu. There was actually a Major Nze-Gwu but he was not part of the coup. His full name was Major Theophilus Nze-Gwu. Nze-Ogwu simply means a great medicine person while Nze-Gwu means one who is greatly feared. Two different name.

Well done Tay. Brilliant content as always. Corruption was extensively talked about in this video. Let's not forget its roots: *The founder of CBN, Okotie Eboh, was once tagged the most corrupt man in Nigeria and this was before independence. *Nigeria military men on the peace keeping mission in the Congo were looting money, gold, diamonds etc from the Congolese who they were supposed to protect. Same thing happened in Liberia. *The lootings in the counter coup and the civil war in 1966-1970 *The corrupt cabinets and governors of Gowon's administration (Gowon was clean with Brigadiers Oluwole Rotimi and Mobolaji Johnson after thorough investigations by Murtala's regime, others were confirmed master looters) *The lootings during Shagari's tenure. *IBB and Abacha? Respect! They were the oga patapata of them all. It appears that it has always been part of our system.
