There's something about enjoying steam railroading on a rainy day❤
Happy that you enjoyed the video. I like the old steam engines, it reminds me of my youth. My Dad and Grandfathers all worked for the Lehigh Valley RR.
Whenever I pass the band door I always see his conducting stick
I found my sister in this three years later
I try to make memories for people. Hopefully your sister likes it also.😄
I thought I knew aircraft in the sky. Never heard or seen this plane before.
It is basically a Beech 18 aircraft. Most of the world war bomber pilots started their training on these aircraft. I have a sister video of this "Inside the AT-11.
Was supposed to play this for our winter concert, but I got the flu and sadly missed this, playing the concert on timpani was the best
Great info on that steam engine 🤠 great tractor show 👍
Thanks 👍
Why no cymbals? Also we played this in 7th grade
in my band we play it without cymbals it sounds good still tho
1:47
dunno how this popped on my fyp anyways, THIS SHI FIRE🗣️🗣️🗣️🔥🔥🔥
Thanks
Awesome!
Glad you liked it.
RC, great job love the pictures👍
Thanks Paul. Always good to see everyone. This may be the last one, everyone is getting older.
I'm so glad I stumbled across this. I like the intensity, especially early season. These kids are bringing it!! Love the trombonist in the opening moments of the 2nd movement!! I'm gonna make a note to myself to come back n see the full production early November. I'm from Kentucky, but I'm now a fan of this band. Good job kiddos!!!!
Happy to hear that you like the band. They are a wonderful group of musicians. I will be doing more of their performances.😃
Beautiful ❤
They are a great group of students!
Thanks .
Your welcome. Pass it on.
thank you.
You're welcome.
Glad you liked the video.
Indiana Jones? Nice! Like that theme song, almost as brilliant as The Main Theme from Star Wars!
Thank You.
Frozen? Bloody hell, Rich freaking White! I like all things Disney, even Beauty and the Beast, The Little Mermaid, Aladdin, etc.
Thanks.
This is insane 🤯
Happy that you appreciate it.
Been there it’s a great club
Yes it is. I believe they have a jet show in September. Hopefully I can make that.
🎻🎺🎷🎼🎵🎶❤🥁 Bravo BRAVÍSSIMO 👍
Glad you enjoy the orchestra!!
I like Up. I knew you'd do Michael Giacchino's famous theme from Up or any of its variations.
Everything that the symphony does is great.
Bravo! Brava!!! Thank you so much for giving us all this!❤
You are welcome. Glad you liked it! More songs to come.
@@Making-Memories1 hopefully more High School Musical songs!
E.T.? Speak of the devil! I'm so glad you're playing that music because I really wanted you to play it.
Thanks!
@@Making-Memories1 Any time
if its steam it has to be seen, Brilliant video, Thanks for sharing.
Great to see the old time machines in action . We have a few steam rallies here in england. But this was a great video. Thanks for sharing it .
Glad you liked the video. Here is another video from last year Different show. Also did the 2021 show in Sycamore Illinois. czcams.com/video/eaicuxmOXRs/video.html
I may or may not know the guy who made that thrashers sign hanging up there flip upside down
This is great, but they sounded so much better in person. Maybe it's the positioning of the mic(s).
Rich White, that's a good video, and I'm a huge fan Disney movies, with some of my favorites being Beauty and the Beast, The Little Mermaid, Aladdin, Snow White, and of course, Tangled. You always make me content to hear you conducting music that I recognize -- Jonah.
I like that Star Wars music, my favorite being the End Title. You're really into soundtrack like me, Mister Rich White. From Jonah.
Will you be uploading the SYCO concert from earlier today
Sorry, I only videoed the evening concert. Symphonic Band, Jazz Band and the wind ensemble.
I like that song
Thank you. I haven't posted anything lately, due to my older brother is dealing with a serious health issue.
Guess what. Both me and my sister Laila like Les Miserables, with our favorite song being Do You Hear The People Sing.
This is definitely one of my favorite musicals. Not a bad song in the entire play. I wish they had performed Empty Chairs and Empty Tables. Glad yo like it.
Not sure why this was in my CZcams suggestions... But, hi! Got to say though, by "opening flourish", do you mean the entirety of the French national anthem?
Since this is 14 year old video that I have and I'm not real familiar with the French National Anthem, I wasn't sure of what the opening music was. So rather than make assumptions,I decided to call it a flourish. Thank you for pointing this out to me. That is why I put the comment in the description about letting me know the errors I make. I will listen to a known copy of the anthem and correct it accordingly. I have tried to get copies of the program but they aren't available. I have one other song that I don't have a clue on, so I may not post that. Again, thanks a lot.
You know what? I like that movie.
Rich White, guess what. Since I was twelve years old, I liked The Wizard of Oz so much that I recreated scenes from that movie at school and elsewhere. Thanks for uploading it! You always make my day!
Thank you for your kind words. Cats will be on line soon. After I finish the 2011 concert I have the 2009 concert to do. That will be it for the West Suburban Symphony concerts, until the 2023 concert.
You’re welcome
That's a good medley.
Wow. The Star Wars Main Theme? That's one of my favorite songs ever, and one of my favorite Star Wars songs? Thanks!!
Same here!
I like that song too. I know a lot of the John Williams songs.
Hey! What did I tell you? I like Revenge of the Sith too.
That’s another one of my favorite songs from Star Wars.
John Williams is a musical genius. A few more to come. Revenge of the Sith is next.
@@Making-Memories1 I like John Williams music, especially the Star Wars songs. Y'know, when I first watched Star Wars, I haven't seen the sequels. Why? Because The Force Awakens wasn't out yet. I was six at the time.
@@jonahsmiththecowboyandfilm2821 Good to hear that you appreciate great music. I have three more years of concerts that I did for the West Suburban Symphony.
OMG! This is Duel of the Fates! I like that song!
Glad you like it!
@@Making-Memories1 Bloody hell. Thanks.
I hear bit of star wars, and a bit of Conan the Barbarian, really lovin' it.
Glad you liked it. Just uploaded Duel of the Fates from Star Wars Episode 1. More to come!
Wow, Rich White. That's another good series of swashbuckling music like The Sea Hawk. I like that too. It's so freaking awesome!
It was a fun concert! The second is coming soon.
@@Making-Memories1 Cool. I'll tune in.
Wow. Those are such good songs, especially The Adventures of Robin Hood, which I have liked since quarantine. I like your version of The Adventures of Robin Hood.
Glad you liked it. If you live in the suburban Chicago area, go to this concert. Usually in July on a Saturday night. Always a lot of fun. One more video to go on the Swashbuckling music. Maybe tomorrow.
@@Making-Memories1 I don't feel like going to this concert. Thanks for your reply though.
Makes me proud to be an American every time I hear that
Rodeo, by Copland, not by Leroy Anderson, thanks. Demille, not sister, but daughter of Demille.
Thank you for pointing that out. I have corrected it in the description. More uploads to come from other West Suburban Symphony.
@@Making-Memories1 Great, thanks.
I was there on August 12th great day.
It is always a nice time. Definitely a learning experience.
Very nice video! Those Pratt & Whitney R-985 radial engines sound great! Great job on its restoration. My father flew AT-11 Kansans out of MacDill Field in Tampa, Florida in 1944 and he loved that airplane. The AT-11's he flew were used as bomber crew trainers where they would drop sand bags as a simulated bomb load over the Gulf of Mexico. My father was a Second Lieutenant in the USAAF during WWII. He was an instructor pilot in B-17 Flying Fortresses, B-24 Liberators and Martin B-26 Marauders at MacDill.
My father also flew the At-11. He was at San Angelo, Texas, a training base for the bombardiers
❤️ Jazz You
Glad you liked it.
In my band we say yo ho ho ho hur rah
Ho Ho Ho and a Merry Christmas to you!
Same!!
For ours at the beginning of the song the band director says the line or lines at the beginning and then later in the song two of the sax players said that this school didn’t tho
Same
In my band it's the same
Junk
