The only thing I know is that we as indie filmmakers are not restrained by obligations and expectations from big companies and our work is purely fueled by love. We don't have much money but we are free to say what we want. That's a nice sweet spot for creation I think :)

What a beautiful comment! One of our goals with this fan film was getting back to the first, original feel of Star Wars that we all had in our early years. The thrill, the adventure, the light hearted characters, the hopeful ending, the sense of wonder... I want to belive we got close to that!

@@SWcollateralstory This really was meant as a compliment, hence the Ray Harryhausen comment. It's a testament to your hard work. Your imagination. I was a poor kid, no toys. As a kid I played with cars that my cousin had , in the dirt, creating adventures. His Mom probably found them somewhere. Just no $ for your kids. Probably why I collect toys now. I think of how many kids get a few figures & play & dream adventures. Imagination is an amazing gift. Be proud of this. I couldn't create this. I loved this, BTW!

@@maeve4686 Yeah I totally took it as a compliment! I wish I could have 5 mins to talk with Ray. I just wanted to highlight the irony in "slightly used" haha. I really appreciate these figures. They are still well preserved in a box under my bed. Thank you for your compliments on my imagination! I must say that I have always been aware of my luck. I really appreciate that the possibility for making these videos happened during my childhood. And I hope that you can find that space to enjoy your imagination through your collection now that you have one. I don't know how old you are, but I think that you can consider yourself lucky as well if you are still capable of finding joy through these small plastic figures. For most adults this type of things become meaningless. Thanks again for your words!

@@SWcollateralstory Let's just say Luke and I are the same age in the last disney tragedy...lol. Saw lV opening day in SF at the Castro movie theater. One screen, 50' x 30'. When Tantive flew in I was impressed. When the Empire flew in you wanted to duck in your seat. Imagine that 50' wide screen filled top to bottom with the Devastator.(I've always loved Vader's ship the Executor, tho I pronounce it Ex-e-cu-tor...right?) I was wondering when is it going to stop going overhead ! Plus, the Dolby Surround Sound had one vibrating & rumbling thru your entire body...One has to realize that this type of movie had never been made before, I was 24 y.o. & when it ended, I was " Oh, no !". Not only a visual , but a physical joining of what was to become something that nearly the entire world knows about! That's how much I love SW. I'd been a Star Trek mega-fan before that, but it's taken a side seat to SW. I will watch anything SW, & I really love the Fan Films. I know you & they love SW as much as I. Screw " Long Live the Empire" LONG LIVE STAR WARS ! Just buying a collection of Lego mini-figures. They're so cute... Ok. I'll stop writing!..lol
