I have the Sony 200-600mm and the 70-200mm 2.8 ii and the 1.4 and the 2x converters and use the 2x on the 70-200mm lens a lot and find I use this lens the most here in Alaska over my 200-600mm lens for the wildlife but sometimes will run the 1.4 on the 200-600mm

Harley Samy….A moment in time during a lifetime of Heart and Soul. Glad I had a moment.

Awww...such sad news. What Samy created was more than just a great camera store. It was an entire community where we could go hang out, look at the new stuff and banter with the sales help. I always felt welcomed and respected when I walked into the place. I've seen a lot of changes in the photography world over the last 50 years and Samy's was always the benchmark, go to place when I needed something or had questions about this or that. I'm glad the store will continue on but the loss of Samy hits home.

I used to go to Samy's store in Culver City... Used to buy darkroom supplies, there....The train set was next to the camera store... Nothing to buy there, nothing to sell there.. just enjoy the train set...That was back in the 80's... Then he moved to Hollywood - and rest of the story needs not to be repeated .... Sad to see him go .. He may have left more impact on the image industry in LA than any other individual, here ... Glad to know he lived good life ! He deserves it ! RIP, Samy !

I don't know how that video recommendation came to me but I am glad it did. I didn't know Sammy but I can see from the photos he was a wonderful man. Rest in peace after a life well spent.

Thanks for the video! I know this is two years later... Curious why you didn't enable compression on the disk? If I am using my disk for backups, would you recommend enabling compression?

When will Canon embed the Gyroscopic data inside the files? It's a huge feature that helps with VFX and stabilization in post that Canon is missing out compare to its competitors

so the dock ports are limited to ~900mb?? such a shame having a Thunderbolt 3 device that works at TB2 speeds 🤦‍♂ the G40 SSDs pull ~2500mb and literally made to fit in this, but apparently will choke it down to 900mb 😤 i get the convenience i suppose, but Sandisk just charge us another $100 and quit throwing down the cripple-hammer 🤷‍♂

I’m just getting into cameras and am about to purchase the lumix s5 but before in doing so I want to do some more research on the lenses as it can make or break your photos/videos and my question is are all these lenses compatible with the s5?

That autofocus is great for house of worship or concerts where people or other performers cross in front of the person you are focusing on

This camera would sell like hotcakes if Canon had enabled it for direct USB to external nvme SSD recording. If Blackmagic can do it, so can Canon. But they keep making video cameras that are unnecessarily expensive to use.

When I attach my G drive to my PC, everything stops. No mouse, no other buttons. It works fine on my old Mac Book Air.

THANK YOU SO MUCH!! I was having such a hard time getting my new G-Drive to work and I was getting so frustrated since I'd spent so much money on it. I'm so happy I have somewhere to put all my files next time my computer breaks (again) Thank you so much again! (The only thing I'm upset about now is that even though it was sold as a 4TB memory card it only has 3.6TB.)
