The machine was on my shoulders and needless to say I have a thyroid nodual that they are deciding if it is benign or cancerous

This was hardly a demonstration on how to remove the wheels! People want to see how it's done not an explanation of parts that you dealt with.

I like it, it has a classical elegance. I came across it looking for safer ways to drive on ice. Now you just need to work out some back wheels that work gyroscopically off a hitch with normal tilt suspension and possibly brakes... allowing for 3 or so duffle bags to be packed around you/ or some compartments with like a half circle leather back seat(back seats to much huh =D)... most importantly to me would be implementing braking tools for ice, finding storage, easy access to remove engine and do all around maintenance... and being able to easily convert back to a normal bike. (my gyro/radioscopic wheel mount idea for the back is problemed with a weight counter I suppose that might inhibit return to an upright position... but could probably be worked out with some proper engineering)

Great series you have on all this. When I tore mine apart, I found wire-rub through spots at about 14,500 miles where the harness you just showed had been rubbing the tank. I wrapped most of my harness in motorcycle inner tube with tape and zip ties after I fixed mine. Ride safe~

Not quite sure how you measured this as from what I understand the 1T or 2T marking with a vertical line is the one you should be viewing for TDC you have the markings with a horizontal line in the viewing window (4:47) which makes the cam lobes sit at off angles (7:02), they should be opposite and facing away from each other (45 degrees). How did you measure your clearances if not at TDC ?

The thin plastic frame comes off. Simply pry it off carefully with a screw driver. Then snap it back into place over the foam filter.
