I am an avid postcard collector and eBay seller for more than 25 years. I want to share my knowledge and experience in the antique postcard world with other collectors and resellers, and promote the love of postcards to the upcoming generation of collectors and resellers. At the same time I hope to learn new practices and strategies to make my own business more successful.

Nepotism, just leads to more treats.
I don't know what that means, but thanks!
Mark, what a wonderful collection of Marilyn Monroe postcards. Thank you for sharing.
Thanks for watching.
Thete are alot of repros out there of that gravity plane in Honesdale. Might hurt values
I didn't know that. This was the first one I've seen of that card. I always appreciate your input.
Hang in there Mark! I'm on the "eBay Bus" and have been moving along pretty well. I'm still listing 7 days a week and always believe that helps.
I'm not going anywhere Kevin, I just have to whine a little bit now and then.
Playwright Arthur Miller was her 1st husband. He wrote Death of a Salesman. Joe DiMaggio was her 2nd husband.
Thank you for the info and thank you for watching!
Mark do you typically research most cards or only if it looks like something special or RPPCs or certain types?
I don't research all cards. There are many that I've seen or sold before, so I go with past experience on those. If it's something I haven't seen before, or looks like something special, I will use eBay Product Research to do a quick search. If nothing turns up there, I do a general internet search. I have to admit that I don't spend a lot of time on any single card. Thanks for watching and for your question.
Thank you for sharing, great haul!
Pulled up that Scottdale PA house and its still there as you guessed. Nice old corner lot on a brick street. Thanks for the vid!
Thanks Mark!
Welcome!
Bought three of your 50 card lots, thanks!
Thank you!
Camp Pendleton could have probably gone for more. In the future you might want to list it as USMC history. Great video!
Next time!
That was a good price on the Disneyland card! I would have priced it around $20
I don't sell a lot of Disney cards, so I don't really know which ones are worth more.
@@mdcgbg I sell a lot of them so can pick out the better ones. Most sell for just around $5, but that was a better one
I liked the Orange CA RPPC
Your intro cracked me up.
Thanks, I like to have fun with it, even if it only amuses me.
Your intro cracked me up.
great video, thanks for sharing!
Thanks for watching!
Can't wait to see your collection!! I started in Jan. This year. Have 15k-20k in my inventory.
That's a lot in a short time, keep it up. Thanks for watching.
This week was dead for me as well. Postcard seller from Washington County PA. What a small world we are in!
Don't give up, keep listing, things will get better! Thanks for watching.
Great info Mark ...postcard seller in Sarver Pa
Thanks for wtaching!
Keep listing Mark! Last few weeks before back to school for most of the nation. I do not think buying old postcards is top of mind right now as parents buy backpacks, school clothes etc. They're also trying to cram in a few last days of vacation before the kids start school. Once September comes, sales will begin again to pick up..
I know, I just had to be dramatic about it. Thanks Kevin.
@@mdcgbg you lost your British accent!
The introduction was done by my twin brother Reginald, he's British, but I'm not.
@@mdcgbg striking resemblance
Thanks for sharing, my favorite card you sold was the birds eye view from Texas. I like your commenting on the home town cards and I'm glad your o.k. 'Twas only a glancing blow from the E train.
Thanks for watching!
Wow what a fun haul! I love going thru new collection purchases.
Me too!!
Your videos are very helpful! Thank you!
Glad you like them!
I referenced Mr. Ed in my last video too! 😂
Great minds think alike!
Great haul Mark! Woah 😮Soooo many cards in this haul. Great job acquiring these 🤓
Thanks, nothing I like more than searched through a huge pile of postcards looking for those gems. Appreciate you watching and commenting.
I enjoy seeing others' personal collections. Quite a few dealers do not collect and there is certainly nothing wrong with that. But, the way you care for yours and organized them is impressive. Inspires me to do the same with mine.
Thank you for watching!
Just stumbled onto your channel, thanks for sharing your solds with us.
Thanks for watching!
Nice group of cards Mark. I just did the same. Bought another 1500 or so more postcards, mostly real photos! Cant wait to do an unboxing video!
I will be watching.
Hi Mark, I just found your channel and subscribed. Welcome to CZcams. Great videos to start and that is a nice haul there.
Thanks John, I've been watching your stuff for a while. Appreciate it.
Glad to discover your channel today. Puppers and postcards? Nothing better. Greetings from this Arkansas collector and dealer.
Thanks for watching! Ellie and Lucy say hello!
Small world - my ancestors were original settlers near Greensburg in Hempfield twp back in 1700s :)
The Holland Michigan Tulip Festival is still going strong. The first week in May each year.
Nice postcards in the collection and some really good sales. Enjoyed listening and watching while drafting. The subtle humor didn't fall on deaf ears either, had me laughing with the IQ reference.
Glad you enjoyed it
Can't find your Ebay store
My seller ID on eBay is mdcgbg, the name of my store is Mark Clemens Postcards. Hope you find me, thanks for watching.
There used to be a Vogels Service Station in Halstead PA. James Vogel was the owner since around 1947.
Could be, the building appears to be near a river.
Great sale on the Harriman cards! Glad they all stayed together
I would list any RPPC baseball team whether identified or not at $24.99 or better . More if identified
Yeah, I had a brain fart on that one. Thanks Kevin.
Love the Newry PA cards! A great grouping
just found ya, Mark! New subscriber :) Love watching all youtube content "postcard related" since I buy/sell them myself. Your doggos are cute.
Thanks for watching and subscribing, I watch your videos as well. We can always learn something new.
The doggos thank you too.
Great cards, thank you!
Thanks for watching!
I can never manage to sell Easter, especially in August!
The Old Man on the Mountain postcards have become more desirable due to the fact that he fell apart and no longer exists.
I still have more of them than I know what to do with!
I enjoyed this video very much. Thank you 🙏
Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for watching.
FYI 😊 “Anthropomorphic” postcards are those with animals doing human activities including wearing clothes but fantasy is much easier to say.
Agreed! Thanks for watching.
Thanks Mark! Great content. Nice presentation.
Much appreciated! Thanks for watching.
That series of Harriman ship yard cards ideally should be kept together. I live not too far, from there and some of the local historical organizations may be interested in them as a collection. If not, then a local collector. Any way to contact you?
Thanks for watching and your comment. I can be reached at mcpostcards @yahoo.com
Really enjoy seeing your sales and your PC collection. The dogs not so much, kind of a distraction.❤
I understand, but they insisted.
Thank you Mark! Yes, I do enjoy hearing about postcards from YOU!
More to come!
I enjoyed the Lincoln Highway segment. Looking forward to the rest of the highway tour!
Thanks for watching Kevin.
I really enjoy you going through and sharing your personal collections. I like to listen to people who have collected the same type of items for a long while. My eyes and ears perk up when I hear them say something is tougher to find. There is something about Bar B Q joints that I like. You had some good ones.
Thanks for watching.
