This is my all time fav live performance of maiden. They sound better live than on the recording which is a sign of their musical skill and demonstrates they are kings of their craft! Bruce just nails every song, and his titanium vocal chords are incredible, especially on my fav track hallowed be thy name! he holds that second to last note forever!

I was 16 in Southern California at the start of the 80's. We had so many venues that there were shows every weekend. I saw everybody from AC/DC to Zz Top. Great times. I must have seen Dokken 25 times. Dokken, Great White and YnT seem to always be the opening band for tje likes of Deep Purpke, Motley Crue, Iron Maiden etc. Dokken was always solid with a terrific guitarist. Great White was always very good live as well as Jack Russell was a helluva singer.

This is an album of intent, and intent of saying goodbye to Freddy. Its a hard album to listen to from beginning to finish.
