What were some of the issues?

@@DejaVueOutdoors2024 I believe they had issues with the ribbing separating and tearing up the bottom of some hulls which BC warrantied and fixed. Of course this didn’t happen with every gatorbak bunk as some customers never had the issue. I believe the new XP bunk material may not have those issues.

@@Basscater81 Okay I’m having pretty bad carpet scuffs when power loading and was thinking about giving these a try. Do you by chance know if the gatorbacks would minimize it. Thanks for the reply

@@DejaVueOutdoors2024 yes sir mine is scuffed up from years of loading as well but most others are too and of course it will show more on dark colored hulls. As to the gatorbak I’m not sure since I don’t know anyone currently using them. Maybe the new XP stuff is of higher quality. You can always put your boat on stands and compound and polish as I have done this for customers.

@@Basscater81 Okay thanks I’m gonna probably have to try buff mines out at one point. My black hull sure makes the scuffs look pretty obvious just like the ones in this video.

Some people would still choose carpet, so it’s still an option for now. Options are good

It’s best to have 300 - 380 lbs of equivalent battery weight on an LX 20 or 21, depending on on much bow weight you have. Whatever you need to do to best balance your boat from port to starboard.

Seat design has nothing to do with Ranger

@ChuckPippinBassFishing outside shell sure looks like Rangers NASCAR design and you say that like it's a bad thing.

@@rickvann3489 I didn’t say anything bad about Ranger. I just know that the Ranger seat definitely was not benchmarked during the design of the VLX.

​@ikonboats I'd like to see an option to do inside deck color different from the hull color. it would be cool to see the vlx get premium upgrade options (options only available on the lx) with obviously a higher price for those. get a little more speed with a chiller plate in the livewell.

What colors would you want for the hull and cap?

@@ikonboats blue flake cap with blue flake bolt charcoal hull. even if only the front deck had the blue flake into the blue flake bolt like the front end of a bass cat

@@ikonboats the perfect boat to me is lightning fast to get on pad but can also run 72-74 mph with two guys, well thought out storage, basic switches, quality craftsmanship, wide fishing platform, shorter gunnel height, some standing room on each side of the trolling motor pedal, independent livewells, easy access to battery compartment, good net storage, and really good dealer access/support. There’s more. But my list is getting too long. Maybe I’m too picky. My perfect boat may never exist. But I have it narrowed down to 2 boats. I just need to spend a little time on the water in both to figure it out.

What is the 20 & 21 foot bass boat price for the average american?

So are high end luxury vehicles. Thats how it is. Not everyone can afford the best of the best.
