    In the process of working on the Comanche I inherited from my gramps when he passed. He bought it new off the show room floor, and it has been through the ringer. I get why you didn't remove the trees as much as you did but I would have removed more, especially that one on the left as you approach the garage bay. I just had a 40x40 four bay built with a loft that's around 12'x40'. You don't want to know how much it cost. I paid in cash.

    Well done. Did you have to make any significant purchases for tools to use for your build? Rental tools? What’s your plan for heating?

    • @SecondChanceJeeps
      @SecondChanceJeeps Před 5 měsíci

      No, nothing significant. I borrowed some tools from a friend (framing and roofing nailer, drywall hoist for interior sheathing and some other random stuff) and rented a shingle conveyor, but other than that, I had just about everything I needed. For heat, I’m currently using a small kerosene heater which works great. I’d eventually like to do an overhead garage heater plumbed to a propane tank.

    • @SecondChanceJeeps
      @SecondChanceJeeps Před 5 měsíci

      Just didn't really see a need for any. The part of my yard that it's on is very wooded so honestly, putting in windows wouldn't have brought in that much light anyway.
