2:34 Getting into it there, this is some uber-level improvisation here. This is for the books! 🎻🎸I just had an ESL student named Noa from JP play this for me out of the blue with his ukulele, was just stumped with awe. Could be the next big one!

Back many years ago I worked at a Porsche parts store. I went to pick up some parts at Merlin Olsen Porsche in the San Fernando Valley in Southern California and there was Jonathan Winters just ad libbing to whoever was there. I have come across a few other very famous comedians and they were very serious. He was just the same and as funny as you see him and know him from TV.

When you watch, IT'S A MAD, MAD, MAD, MAD WORLD, keep in mind that Jonathan had been recovering at home from a nervous breakdown just weeks before filming. He was institutionalized for several months, but was at home then. Stanley Kramer the director called him and asked him to be in the film. Jonathan didn't think he could do it, but his wife encouraged him, along with (I think) another call from Kramer. This was in a biography I think. I apologize if I got anything wrong.

Here is an example of a man who has climbed to his highest self, both as a comedian, and as a human being. Even in old age he kept stoking the furnace, which still burned with love and spirit and soul. Jonathan‘s flesh may sag a bit but not his magnanimity

That was so painful and yet funny to watch. Comedians often say their humour comes from the pain in their lives and many suffer from mental health and addiction issues. He was certainly someone who made the best life he could after a painful childhood and who shared things with us but reminded us that laughing every day helps to get us through. I loved him for his comedic genius and love him even more after watching this. He was a true gem.

Our parents rather we like them or not have a great affect on us. Obviously his parents had some feeling for him because he lived with them, but gosh they harmed him so. A child's heart is the most precious thing in this world second only to God, but Mr Winters heart was broken by his parents. Yet, he was this incrediable brave patriotic marine in WWII, the G.O.A.T of all comedians and his kids say he was a wonderful Dad. So he must've been extremely strong, and a man of faith. He was a incredible man.
