Hi! The ungroup option is not available with me, is it possible that you need Cricut Access to ungroup the designs?

Just a thought - why not mirror the image and put it on the INSIDE of the glass? Easier to clean!

Why doesn’t this work for me do you have to be an active subscriber to Cricut’s design space to be able to do this?

@ceawood2751 (2/4/24) For all who are experiencing their self-designed, multi colored images (all text, but probably works for picture images as well), changing to all one color when they use attach, this is what I found works (after many months of frustration and watching numerous videos). Thanks to @ceawood2751 who asked a question back in Sept 2023 and Burton Avenue's response, I figured out the specific steps to prevent this unwanted color change. SHORT ANSWER: For EVERY word you type in a text box, change it to the desired color, then group those letters in that one word. Grouping will allow you to move the word around as needed AND, once you have your design laid out, you'll be able to easily choose the same colored words (& probably pictures, haven't tried this), to ATTACH together so they WILL CUT TOGETHER THE WAY YOUR DESIGN IS LAID OUT. Some additional issues/solutions I experienced (in case you're interested: 1. I didn't notice this until my design was finished, but my Basic Cut (identified in the "operations" section), had changed to Print then Cut somewhere along the way of creating my design. I had no idea what I did to cause this. Since I wanted to cut vinyl, this wouldn't work of course. The Cricut won't cut a Print then Cut without registration marks on the sheet it's cutting. My design had multiple individual text boxes in 3 different sections of different sizes, but all intended to be one design. One section of text had an offset. All of my text was black, but the offset was pink. One section had 4 separate text boxes/words lined up vertically (like a list going down a sheet of paper). I cannot even remember all of the things I did, but I did find that I could not vertically line up the list of words in the one section until I had GROUPED all of the letters in one word, EACH WORD INDIVIDUALLY, (selecting the letters in the LAYERS PANEL). Then I selected that section of 4 words. After that, I could align them left and vertically as I needed. 2. I had a lot of problems with the offset changing from pink to black when I tried attaching. That was solved by selecting each offset IN THE LAYERS PANEL (1 for each letter in the text for that section), and GROUPING them. Then I could move them away from they black text they were the offset of. I did ATTACH the offset (by itself) so it would remain pink and cut on its' own mat. Additionally, until I figured out to choose the offsets in the layers panel and then group them and move them from the word they were an offset of, I could not see the original word I had typed in black letters. At first I could see the original word on top of the offset, but then I did something and could only see the pink. I thought that the offset must have become permanent to the original word. Grouping and moving the offset allowed me to see the original word again, this time by itself. Once I had taken care of my offset, and it was moved away from the other part of my design (all black text), I selected all of the black text and attached it. This made it cut together as one piece even though there were different fonts, letter sizes, sections and directions of text/words. 3. One last suggestion. When you have your design set, click "make it" so you'll be able to preview it on the mat and see how it will cut. If it is not laid out correctly, click "cancel", go back to your canvas and watch youtube videos to try to find a solution. Don't give up! and if you have time, watch the free videos these kind teachers have made instead of spending all of your money on pre-recorded courses that often leave out small steps that really matter for the success of the outcome you're trying to accomplish. Many people can do things well but may not be effective instructors. I sincerely hope my rant has helped someone.

Great tutorial. Just came across this by sheer accident. I have subscribed to your channel and website. I was about to make the the above floating ornament, when I noticed that there were two separate fonts for the C, it looks as if it has been added so it could be welded to the B is that the reason? It looks a little strange as I wanted to take the bottom C off but was able to? Please advise. Many thanks.
