You wont short the bulbs. What happens is the oil on your fingers gets on the glass. Then the oil finger print heats up and breaks the glass. Alcohol wipe the print off and all good

You can touch the taillight glass bulbs. They are not light Headlight bulbs.

The silicon on the old light was probably to keep moisture out. Did yours end up getting water in them or fogging in the rain at all?

Did you need load resistors for the LEDs?

I sure do appreciate you Georgia boys being thorough at explaining this procedure, because most people shortcut a lot of shit and when they actually try to change the assembly, they run into small issues, like the clips on the upper bumper trim! They'll take the bolts out, and think they misses a few because it's not just coming right out! Just the calm, thorough way you explained it was spot on!

Hey man , I replaced mine today but they will not turn on, if I take my lights off auto and switch them to my low beams with the knob they’ll work .. but only then .. but as far as just them turning on when I turn the truck on NO & they also won’t come on when I unlock the truck or turn my brights on from the inside … any suggestions???

Did you have any problems getting the clamp to seal the cats and flex pipe? Been dealing with a leak right there and can’t get it to hold

Hey bro. I have same issue with panel Gap. Any idea how to fix that? Like there’s no way I can get a bolt in there it’s too small between door and fender unless you take door off?

Decent video, I liked the fact that another human was holding the camera while filming. The camera guy was able to hone in on the items you were describing. Kinda irritated me when you left the bracket OFF the car, Very easy to access when the door is open. Do your thinking and speaking that thinking OFF the video. NO ONE WANTS TO HEAR ABOUT HOW TO SUPER GLUE YOUR ANTENNA ON THE FENDER ! And last but not least, buy a set of TORX bits and a driver. Otherwise was a pretty good every level of learning video ! Sounds really good, how does it sound inside the cab on long highway trips? I’m trying to decide between this & their progressive kit for my 2011 Silverado. But we use my truck for vacation trips and don’t want it to be annoying on 8-9 hour drives.
