The Aga Khan Award for Architecture is given every three years to projects that set new standards of excellence in architecture, planning practices, historic preservation and landscape architecture. Through its efforts, the Award seeks to identify and encourage building concepts that successfully address the needs and aspirations of societies across the world, in which Muslims have a significant presence.

Following part 2 of “In Conversation with Oleg Grabar”, part 3 concludes the series of recordings made with the scholar. Oleg Grabar received the Chairman's Award of the Aga Khan Award for Architecture in 2010 in recognition of his lifetime contribution to the field of Islamic art and architecture. In the videos, he talks with three of his former students: Renata Holod, Glenn Lowry and Mohammad al-Asad. The discussion is moderated by Farrokh Derakhshani, Director of the Aga Khan Award for Architecture.
