Can we drink turmeric and black pepper in morning in warm water and how much? I am an Indian and all our dishes have turmeric already. But my symptoms flare up.
Thank you Jack for all what u r doing, I wanna ask u how you deal with vision trialing, this is the most tough symptom.
It’s exactly how you describe it, i was so scared to take medication because i was scared to make my vs worse. And that wasn’t the case it hasn’t gotten worse I’ve taken medicine for various reasons. And it’s never gotten worse and I haven’t lost my vision.
Ty for pushing our morality <3
Good stuff! Specific information about lifestyle changes for VSS can be difficult to find. I felt great while I was drinking golden milk daily! Great anti inflammatory recipe.
Did you have visual trails or tracers following along behind a moving objects?
This is fine and dandy as advice as for the majority of people the effects are minor and it's nothing to worry about indeed, but I do wish to say that the OCD and anxiety link is made with a bit too much force. I mean there are also people whose symptoms are so bad they are unable to read and it's debilitating. Just telling them to ignore it doesn't help, we still need to have this thing taken seriously and properly researched etc.
What choice do they have? The outcome remains the same for them whether they choose to ignore the symptoms and live with it, or hyper-fixate on something that has no cure or effective treatment. Ignoring the symptoms and choosing to accept it, is a much better way to live. There is no cure, there is NO CHOICE but to move on from it.
@@thatshillarious There will be a cure in the future most likely if enough energy is spent on developing one, so being vocal about how problematic this is for some will help spur research, will keep it on the agenda. So while your argument works for many, it does not fit every case and you left little to no space for that. I don't think it's worth discussing this as it is completely reasonable feedback I give. I do not disagree with your general point that it is not very helpful to those with minor complaints to make a big deal out of visual snow.
@@alfonsstekebrugge8049 I’ve said numerous times in my videos that my advise isn’t going to be helpful for severe cases.
I am also suffering from Visual snow but also migraine aura and Alice in wonderland syndrome, are they also caused by similar problem in brain ?
along w VSS and flickering, I get Alive in Wonderland badly with stress or lack of sleep. yes, those problems are also neurological. the tips in the video help, especially getting healthy sleep and exercise
Every single one of your videos are the single things that help me deal with this, so thank you :)
That makes me so happy !
Thank you so much. I was looking for someone who has the same Problem as me. This relieved me greatly
Hey, im going through this I dont have instagram.. is there any place I could talk to you? Im 30 years old and Ive had this for 20 weeks
How much % have your symptoms improved?
Hardly notice my symptoms
Jack noooooo, please no compulsions like this! These are only going to keep you stuck, come on you know better. 💔
I genuinely don’t think these are compulsions for me. I’ve only dealt with three maybe four flareups and I am extremely confident that improving my diet with low inflammatory foods and -anti inflammatory foods it helped.
@@thatshillariousthey’re not compulsions at all😂 literally just living a healthy lifestyle
Thank you so much, I'm going thru a flare up I have been dealing with the snow for two months now, the biggest symptom is the light sensitivity I constantly have to wear sun glasses, the ringing in the ears is minimal but I get spikes I believe the has been coming to a head for years I had after emages for at least three years and never knew what they was
Awesome going to sprinkle that in my food 😊
It helps!!
Insightful. What brand of turmeric and black pepper do you use?
Any black pepper! And any turmeric that is at least organic.
Interesting. I used to take turmeric and black pepper. I shoukd try it again. Nice sufgestion. Cheers.
This has helped me a lot thank you so much bro! - From Canada
Still the best video about visual snow on the internet, thank you so much you saved my life and my mental health through hard times
Yup. Getting anxiety under control is key.
Great video. The first one I ever got to watch about this condition after the symptions begun to appear and Doctor Google pointed it out. I have an appointment tomorrow with a real Doctor to try and have this diagnosed, or whatever else I might have.
Thank you jack, i had most symptoms but not that bad till i awakened one morning a little bit more than a month ago, i had static and tinnus it really freaked me out , i am learning to live with it the light sensitivity is the worst and the ear ringing i am trying hard to continue working i drive a medical 15 passenger bus i have 20/20 vision i had a full eye exam all is well there, thank you for your videos please make more thank you
Your story has helped me to get a push towards moving on , I'm only a little bit over a month in but I have worked every day driving for a bus transit organization I wear my sunglasses and block out the symptoms as much as possible, thank you sir you rock
Thanks for the video !
Mine is progressing after migraine aura Now I started not to care about the hallucinations!
I can’t live with the double vision and palinopsia. I’m an artist I need my eyes to get money
how i’ve been feeling rn it’s impossible
@@Sookaretto if it can help I’ve done a lot of research on what could cause VSS, I have b12 deficiency and following a protocol rn. Im also looking into mold toxicity as well as Lyme and bartenolla. I also have TMJ and neck problem. Which can be a cause. VS is often a symptoms of something else going on. Find it, hang in there!
Hey did you have light sensitivity at the beginning of your symptoms aswell? I have pain in my eyes from the moment i wake up and its this burning feeling throughout the day. Also palinopsia and random colors in my vision sometimes. I have been to eye exam and they say everything is fine but this came from nowere and Ive had it for 13 weeks now.
I've been experiencing similar, literally can't go outside during the day without sunglasses and a hat. Slight discomfort in the eyes too. I would recommend a cold compress for some temporary relief.
@@Ra_in_ on top of it I got tinitus aswell. I think the eye dilation worsened my symptoms at the doctor.
palinopsia and noticing my blind spots is the most frightening and annoying symptom of my vss
Isn‘t a little visual snow also normal? I experience „static“ when i look at blank objects like a wall, especially in the dark. It’s a very mild black or transparent „flickering“ more like a shadow. And in the dark i also don’t see perfectly black and objects perfectly sharp, i see it flickering a little bit. Not when closing my eyes though. I also had anxiety and recognized the visual snow the first time when i had anxiety looking at the sealing in the dark. I asked a lot of people about this and most of them see what i see in dark. And looking at white walls. I freaked out about it, when i googled the symptoms, „visual snow syndrome“ it said immediately. So i focused really hard on the freaking snow all day. I always focused on how i see not what i see. And now i‘m pretty sure this mild „flickering“ is normal and most people don’t pay attention to it. Nobody sees the same and nobody sees 100% perfect! So don’t diagnose yourself and freak out about it like i did. Made my life really hard for months.
Of course if you have after images, really hard flickering, you don’t see at night and so on… it might be visual snow. And i can‘t argue i would freak out too. But the less you focus and think about it the more „normal“ it gets!
Hey Jack, is there any chance I could dm you? Could use your advice.
Do you lift weights??
Hey man I have night blindness and severe visual snow syndrome and the flashes it happened after getting covid never had it before covid nor was I born with jt have had long covid for 19 months plus the vss does it go away if its viral induced trauma?
Ty
Is it just me or does anyone get trails in vision of everything
That's one of the symptoms
Me too so bad
So once I have visual snow syndrome it lasts forever? Or can it be temporary for some people?
It’s a nervous system disorder. Also detox the body and get as healthy as possible. Many people with long covid, Lyme, etc have it. It’s curable. Ur brain is in a trauma loop if you don’t think it’s curable. The body is able to heal from cancer. If you think you can’t heal this, then your gonna be stuck
Smart advice! Been super stressed and developed this static with worst floaters hoping once I get it under control symptoms lesson
Not to be dismissive of other people who have recovered. But I find the description of recovery and to "just ignore it" comes across as insultingly easy when people say they did it. I would not be surprised if alot of people dont even make it out ALIVE because this is so difficult to handle. Going on over 1,5 years now and my perspective of it has changed for sure, but i still suffer now as i did day one. I dont think my case of palinopsia is that unique but obviously i'm doing something wrong because i can't just ignore it as easily as all of the commenters and you describe.
Sorry to hear you’re struggling bro. Please look into eating food that is anti-inflammatory (turmeric for example) and exercise daily - take some long walks and keep that blood moving. Come back in a month and tell me how you feel.
@@thatshillarious Thank you! I will. I wrote the above when especially down when crashing on my Concerta meds but even when "fine" I still suffer. I think i'm noticing that my eyes are moving really weird, like almost involuntarly? I seem to get anxiety at the mere thought of moving my eyes and even moving them when closed. Also when I see stuff in my peripheral that are sure to leave an afterimage I see it as a "threat" as you would a tiger in your peripheral vision. The keeping and breaking eye contact when talking to people is gonna be really hard to shake but like you said, you overcame it. And it seems that your symptoms align with the severity of mine in that they are in less detail than the original image and that they last 0,5 secs, maybe less even.
you... are... amazing!!! Every single word is true and helps!
thank you so much for this video!
Please never stop putting out videos. You are literally the only person who has been able to help me deal with this. I don't have static but whenever I look at the sky (particularly overcast/cloudy) my vision strobes/flickers. I also have massive eye floaters I'm trying to learn to live with as well. Your videos have been extremely helpful. Thank you.
Truely appreciate this video. I don't have the static but I do have various other visual disturbances that have really bothered me the past year. Thank you very much for putting in the work.
Jesus christ and Our Lady of the Holy Rosary cured me of this horrible disorder.....Our Lady promised that she will never forsake anyone who has fled to her...She promised that she will shower abundant graces to all who call upon her
What is your current Visual Snow update?
Would you still go get a diagnosis with how you feel now?
Yes
Really appreciate the guided meditation video you poated. I feel like it will help me tremendously. Cheers
I open my eyes from a very short nap and noticed I had that stupid vortex vision against my white ceiling. I started going down another rabbit hole about this and VS (including reddit) but stopped myself and came back to this video to listen to it. It's been so much help, and it was the initial video that helped me start moving on about 2 weeks ago. I do suffer from health anxiety so this has been hell, but your videos have been SO helpful. Thank you so much.
hey Jack i likethis video but won't like it so I don't get more in my feed.but I'm commenting anw so...
yeah man fuck reddit it can make your symptoms 100× worse and make you think its the end of the world
Bro saved me 2 years ago... thank you 😊
Thank you, but even if you do this, how do you all read, or work without being able to read from a laptop? I cannot ignore that. Or will that get better.
