In my experience, the biggest reason why CZcams has gotten worse over the years, is because user friendlyness wasn't a priority anymore at some point. There is the concept of "hostile webdesign", which applies to the way CZcams has changed. You try to make your website as uncomfortable for users not acting the way you want them to act and only stop at the point where it becomes so uncomfortable that users leave your website. CZcams is in the position of pretty much having a monopoly on free usergenerated webvideos, so the line of discomfort, where users would actually leave the website is very high. CZcams has removed useful functions like seperate subscription boxes and the dislike button, still tries to push shorts, hides/delets comments, isn't well moderated(you just have to change the spelling and use words like "yevv" and a comment doesn't count as antisemitic anymore for example), it doesn't only allow scam ads(sometimes even dangerous ones pushing "alternative medicin"), but doesn't remove them, when reportet, tries to push more and more ads(and on many days I've actually seen way more scam ads than legitimate ads) and one of the most important, it has changed the recommendations and how the search works. If you are from Germany and watch any german CZcamsr that has a low subscriber count, talks about politics, or if you just use the CZcams front page, you will get recommendations for far right CZcams channels, including bullying-/harassment channels, that should be(and probably are) illegal. CZcams search also has gotten less and less helpful and instead of showing you results that have a high overlap with your search terms, you get shown results with a "high relevance"(meaning popular videos). So if you search for "speedrun [niche indie game]" you get shown speedruns of popular games and videos with many views from channels with many subscribers. A lot of the smaller channels I watch or used to watch would be impossible for me to find nowadays, while CZcams constantly tries to push "popular" channels and videos onto me, that I don't want to see. Searching on CZcams worked worse for me, when I was logged in, than when I wasn't logged in and even then, CZcams shows you the same search results again and again(like the same videos 3 or 4 times, when you scroll down far enough), so you possibly never arrive at a video, that you would want to see, but that CZcams would rather not want you to watch, because there are videos that supposedly keep you on the site better, or can be monitised better, because they're more advertiser friendly. CZcams feels empty, because the recommendations and search results are empty. The channels and videos exist, you just can't find them anymore, because CZcams wants you to watch "big monetisable CZcamsr"(even if that's a barely covert nazi) instead. Like many people I used to like CZcams as a website, nowadays I just begrudgingly use it, because there is no viable alternative. I'm not even logged in most of the time anymore, because what are the benefits? CZcams recommending you videos based on data they claim they don't collect, when you opt out? Talking to people in the comments and part of the conversation being deleted, or not even knowing if your own comment will be hidden/deleted? CZcams disabling your video player, because you used an AD-Blocker to escape their scam ads and sometimes unskippable 40 minutes ads, that are only 1 of multiple ads?

I know no one will read this but, what feels empty for me is how all the content feels automated, take the MrBeast situation, tons of people make videos all saying one thing and talking about the same topic. Don't get me wrong, you can use it to grow your channel, and I am not calling the people who make it are bad people or milkers, but when literally everyone starts making video of it it really shows how much of a hivemind everyone is, and the original message can get lost. Imagine someone says something about someone and then it goes through one video, then another, then another and then it turns into this completely different allegation that they are a pred, and assaulter, an awful person who should be pushed off the internet, and it can be false for everyone knows. And then there's the awful interchangeable CZcams shorts that are just "So and so did this, what happens next is shocking", again no hate for people who actually do work, but there are AI ones with AI voices that just have the same footage in the background and were ran through ChatGPT or some other AI site. Lastly, the algorithm, the reason why this is a problem at all is because the algorithm has been figured out and now everyone knows how to make their videos pop out and be clicked on, while people who don't know how to get the algorithm to like them get shafted and quit. I know someone who draws very very good animations, they're quitting because their drawings don't show up, another channel was posting Minecraft content, but then switched to posting MrBeast content because they were also not getting views until that. People miss the old CZcams and that's because the old CZcams didn't have the algorithm figured out, it was "Broadcast Yourself" and that's what people did, but now it's just talk about drama and you blow up. Again, no hate on creators who make drama content, but when everyone and I mean everyone does it and that's the only thing that blows up shows a major problem.

MatPat left youtube so he could put a focus on his family. The transfer of his channel was a multiple year process too. CZcamss algorithm changes every few months. So trying to make content of the same kind of thing makes sense. You won't get the same views since the algorithm has decided something else will be popular and trendy, not promoting it as much. Ai will never fully takeover. If a form does it's due to the coder copilioting and updating it constantly. Machines will always have that machine touch since even the most evolutionary ones look generic since generic stuff is popular

Yip... I joined Feb 2011. Those were the good times. Good content, quality, trust and safety was actually a thing which yt act upon. Now it is simply, figure out what slop sticks, no matter how crap, no matter how meaningless because ALL that matter is making money. 14 years later however, there is a plethora of alternatives which combined is not bad at all. I care nothing for AI generated bs, nor everyone exposing everyone else... these days I use it (yt) when and if I need to ("online security" being my work, it is still useful for gathering intel, recon, etc... other than that if I want to relax I will use Odyssey or such. If you think about start a channel worth your time, this platform is really not worthy of you, accept if you want to produce meaningless, mindless, useless content with ads upon ads making a ~15m vid into a 40m vid.

I think people have been doing weird stuff for years on CZcams, its just now you have people wanting to hold others accountable for their actions (which is a good thing), but you also have people and algorithms obsessed with popularizing the drama and also fake drama that gets spread around. Its what the people and algorithms want.

I do and have done YT for 10 years on and off and sometimes it is weird. I have a second channel for issues like the copyright system. Upload to the second account to check for copyright. Most of the time the company who owns the content just wipe the videos. I don’t make money but still get claims to take it down. Some have allowed them to stay but they get full revenue which I find just fine. I have had videos not get claimed only for years later they get claimed. How is that fair? You can never be safe sometimes. I have videos that I upload to the dead channel for it to not care or allow me to post. It’s favoritism.

So they letting him get bad or for a bit. It’s like shooting a gun in the air to lower property values. Jimmy will come out of this more “relatable” as he has gone through “struggles” and then his brand price point will drop enough to bait advertisers back to the plataform 👍

What I love most about this film is how WALL-E's personality is described in the original trailer. The narrator labels his sentience as a glitch. A bug that goes against his primary programming. An imperfection. It's implied that WALL-E's prolonged activity, spanning seven centuries, has allowed himself to emotionally expand in a way not thought possible. Compare this to the Short Circuit movies, where the sentient robot, Johnny-5, is given life through a loud and sudden lightning strike, which, incidentally, is commonly associated with the will of God Himself. Compared to Johnny-5, WALL-E's sentience is far more subtle and gradual, in that he became his own person through a long period of experience, not just having life thrust onto him. And WALL-E turns out to not be the only one with this "imperfect sentience". When EVE arrives on Earth, she almost immediately begins to fly around (once she knows she's not being monitored by her superiors on the rocket), as if she was cooped up and needed an opportunity to "stretch her wings". She even reveals herself to be reactive. She can become frustrated, cold, and even dismissive, but she also reveals herself to be warm, friendly, and open to others. She had already developed certain emotional traits prior to meeting WALL-E, who indirectly taught her other things later on. She was likely active for long enough to grow into her own self as well. This reveals that all Buy-n-Large machines have the capacity for sentience with enough activity, as the repair ward scene shows other bots that outright malfunction on their primary directives, but are clearly more expressive and less cold in their movements. Their glitches are viewed as something to be corrected in a heavily-monitored and automated place like the Axiom, where the AUTO-pilot system is in charge. And AUTO keeps every bot on a strict routine with no hiccups. On the Axiom, no bot is allowed to become their own person. Just follow orders and do what they're built to do. No chance to truly live, because that allows the opportunity to break, which is deemed unacceptable. WALL-E was lucky to become sentient on his own because Earth didn't have any active system to suppress his growth. Earth was a blank canvas with no intervention. WALL-E was free to live and grow, not just work and follow his programming. So when he unintentionally frees the other broken bots from the repair ward, he's deemed a hero for it. The bots even aid WALL-E and EVE in their mission to take the plant to the Lido Deck and get the ship back home. Another clever example is M-O, the cleaning bot. He followed his protocol to a T, and was committed to it, even willing to risk deactivation and go beyond his restricted path in order to get his job done when WALL-E started leaving dirt trails everywhere. He demonstrates the choice to go beyond a strict ruleset to get work done when necessary, and how that's a genuinely healthy thing. Going beyond what's asked of you and exploring the unfamiliar if it means completing your mission. All these examples bring me back to my point: Labelling personality, sentience, free will, as a glitch. It's an imperfection, but it's not painted in a negative light. Imperfection isn't just a NECESSARY trait. It's a POSITIVE one. When the movie words sentience as an anomaly, a glitch in programming, it brilliantly conveys that true perfection for mankind would essentially make us lifeless drones. A lack of free will means there's no capacity for organic emotions, behaviors, and reactions. It's far better to be imperfect than to be incapable of thinking or choosing at all. It's better to be able to choose good OR evil, than to have no say in the matter at all, to potentially contribute something of value than provide nothing. Our history and nature even shows that sometimes, choosing evil is a vessel for good, because it can cause remorse, a desire to repent and return to good nature, because even when we try to suppress it ourselves, part of our humanity still lingers. It's impossible to fully remove that, and we shouldn't try to. We should embrace it. WALL-E's message is about embracing the true root of humanity: The beautiful imperfection of one's free will. It's about using your ability to choose to better the world around you, and how pursuing and working towards something truly good can positively affect those around you, even when you don't realize it. That's what makes WALL-E so timeless. It works on SEVERAL levels. It's not just a love story. It's not just a cautionary tale about the dangers of an automated society, or mankind's responsibility to care for their natural home. It's a story that shows the positive consequences of being alive and active. Imperfection is necessary, even when society might consider it something to be fixed. People are imperfect because they're allowed to choose. We're supposed to be that way. Imperfection is life. And life is wonderful.

I am a huge robot fan and this movie helped me develop that love. What I love about this movie compared to other robot movies is that the humans and robots aren't enemies to each other. They even work together to throw the plant to the holo detector at the end. Even if they had different goals (i.e. robots are rushing to repair WALL•E at his home while the humans are trying to make a batter future), they still have a common goal of returning to Earth; they understand and sympathize to each other's problems, and I adore seeing AI and humans become friends instead of enemies.

Even if I quit HD2 when I unlocked and capped out everything, it would've been worth its price (40). Whereas AAA means paying 70 bucks for a F2P level of overmonitized game. Also Sony hasn't fixed the issue, most countries still can't play. If Sony can end that shit and Arrowhead comes back from their month off (yes -_-) and adds more content, especially long term progression, numbers should come back up some.

True, games don't need endless content to be successful. I think these games are highlighted because they are some of the first mainstream ones that are stand alone indie games, when before we had the triple A games that usually had sequels and DLC that kept players with the same company, and didn't give the effect of a shift or a game falling off too hard.
