I have an "old" L350i Elite and a lawn where wild grass grows. In some areas very hard weeds form and, even if they are lower than the blade, when the robot hits them with the front wheels it stops and turns back as if it had hit an obstacle. If this event occurs often, obviously there is a reduction in cutting efficiency and some areas are not mowed properly. I would like to know if this problem has been resolved with the new 4.36 RTK 4WD models Grazie

Unfortunately, the app for Elite 4.36 didn't work out well. Just connecting to the mower takes what feels like hours. Why do other providers do this better? Unfortunately, this app is a failure and should be improved as quickly as possible.

at 02:00 it shows "width and height greater than 5cm" does it really mean "width PLUS height greater than 5cm"? If not then the diagram is poorly drawn because the same width illustrated as OK at 02:00 is suddenly indicated as No / not OK at 02:08 !!

The battery is of very poor quality. After buying the Elite, the battery was replaced within 8 months, 1 year later that battery also fails. Costs 900 euro! Replaced in my Ambrogio Elite within 2 years so far: 2x Battery, Wheel Motor, Motherboard and charger.

I have the elite 4.0 . Do you plan on using the GPS home function instead of the home by wire anytime soon? Tyres are leaving marks on lawn when always using wire to get home.

We are 2 years down the road with my Basic 4.0, and I can post a few things about it. Positive: good battery life, fast, sturdy, climbs well. Negative (a much longer list I'm afraid): 24/7 RF interference has still not been adressed. Spiral cut cannot be turned off, and causes the mower to 'pirouette' on 3 wheels when the grass is longer or the terrain is somewhat uneven. To me the turning circle looks too tight for what the wheels can handle ... The side skirts are very good at ripping away it's own perimeter wire, especially on a fresh surface install (2 pegs/meter), they should be smooth instead of spiked. Routing algorithm can be stupid and seems poorly optimized: it looks as if the interception angle with the perimeter is not always used properly (or is incorrectly read). The algorithm is sometimes trapped in regions with a narrow (1.5 m wide, 1 m long)) passages for a long time, something that my old Robomow could easily handle. The mobile app cannot update the firmware of the mower anymore, and complains about a software version (but it's the latest version from the android app store after local delete). In general the mobile app is quite poor and confusing. Connection (BT) can be shaky, scheduling is basic and still way behind what I had for my 10 year old robomow, and as said before some useful options (which are in the dealer support app?) are missing, e.g. spiral mow on/off, sensitivity of the front wheels lift or block sensor (way too sensitive for any rought type of grass or terrain).

why is the navigation of my Ambrogio Quad Elite so bad? If the robot is stuck in some place, it repeats the same trajectory over and over again and does not try to change movements in order to get out. He cannot find a charging station without a wire, even if he is nearby. He can't get into the charging station normally. He tries to cut down trees, bushes, even if they are fenced with wire. This often causes it to flip over. This is the worst robot I have ever used. Technically, this is a very good robot. But the software is at a very low level. Any cheapest robot vacuum cleaner is smarter. Is it possible to update the software?

I have been using the robotic mower for a year now and now I run into a serious shortcoming : the wheels. The soft rubber is coming loose from the hard part of the wheel and this makes it necessary to replace the entire wheel. Unfortunately, the company currently cannot deliver the wheels (quickly) : I need 3 or 4 new wheels and so far, after 6 weeks, I have barely received 1 (one) wheel via my dealer. Very unfortunate because this has put the expensive robot out of action for weeks. I am looking forward to a sustainable solution from Amrogio.

Once I log in the app tells me that it will look for upgrades. Two weeks later it's still 0%. Every now and then it says there is no connection available (where to, what type is not clear) and whether I would use the Internet. I've sai ok about 73 times now. My guess is that this will take some time.

The ambrosio app is terrible and unintuitive. Not being able to upgrade without a plan is a prank on users. The abruptness, heaviness and non-intuitiveness of the software is striking. I don't use apps unless I have to. I start device the mower from my finger - it's a waste of time to connect via BT - it works as it wants and when it wants. I never know if the robot is charging after finishing work or not. In this respect Amrogio is somewhere 20 years behind. Once it mows, it does it properly but without fireworks. My device is the L35 Delux - this delux is a bit of an exaggeration.

Just installed this robot and the app and display interface is not fit for purpose. Simply terrible. The set up and options are extremely confused and some are simply ignored. I added my credit card to buy some data. No confirmation of the transaction (by email or in the app). I have no idea if I now have more data or not. Customer service does not exist. There is only a web form to complete and nobody responds. That's it. Nothing. You are on your own with a confusing product that has an Interface that mostly ignores you. Don't think the manual will help you. It is missing a lot of details and does not include the app. There are no instructions for the terrible app. Stay away from this company with its half finished and badly supported products.

I have used this Ambrogio QUAD for one year now. It does cover the whole garden and can handel slopes well. It is also fun to see it working and the building quality is good. The radar sensors unfortunately are not reliable. it runs into big items all the time (trees, metal objects, wooden opjects). Sensors have been calibrated many times but dit not solve the problem. Beside that the drive motor axis got loose and all 4 had to be replaced. Good news was that Ambrogio gave me a brand new mower this year. The radar sensors of this one still do not work. this resulted in climbing an obstacle and flip over. The rain entered the body through the bottom and dammaged the electronics. Now Ambrogio offers a credit for the machine and does not want to give more support. too bad because if they would solve the radar problem it could be a very nice product. My dealer now offers to replace it with a Wiper Q 350 SR (same "Zucchetti product" but different colour).

Ne reconnaît pas tous les rebords et bute violemment dans certains, se bloque régulièrement et demande donc une surveillance de tous les instants... à quoi bon un robot!
