I was just stirring a packet of Stevia into my iced coffee and I got a flash of Loni Anderson dying from a laced packet.. I didn't know where it came from but after some googling I found out that it wasn't a fever dream but an actual MOTW that my mom made me watch when I was a kid!! Holy Crap.. I can't remember what I had for breakfast but a deadly sweetener packet from 1988 comes flying outta my head?? LOL! And also NPH was in this!??

Saw this when it first came out in 1993. I was 12 years old, the same age as Shawn/Gregory. Even at that age I found it compelling, and rewatched it on VHS (recorded from the TV) maybe a dozen times. Haven't thought about it for decades. Thanks so much for keeping this wonderful story alive for the next generation. Hope you get lots of views.👍

All the TV movies she did were plot driven forgettable schlock that did nothing to stretch her as an actress and that is so tragic. She only had Erica Kane to play in order to explore more complex emotions because outside of primetime television, nobody in big screen movies would give her a chance to star in something. Lucci wanted to play the Meryl Streep role in Bridges of Madison County but they wouldn’t even let her test for it.
