the castle wall in this galaxy is interesting to me because it looks like it broke off from a larger structure, where was this structure originally located? is it part of a larger castle? if so what happed to it you can also say the same for the tall cylindrical wood tower planets in this galaxy too as it looks like they have some damage at the bottom

A heavily forgotten galaxy, but an amazing one none the less

The music actually changes to Flip-Swap’s theme when upon reaching the toxic cauldron/dark matter bowl. I find it interesting how nobody talks about it, but to me it gives a totally different atmosphere than in the galaxy it originally plays in; the dark matter planet ends up feeling like you’ve travelled from the lively cloudy heavens to a barren, ominous cloudy graveyard. Not to mention, cosmic clones popping out every time a silver star is collected kinda gives the feeling of spirits or ghouls haunting the area noticing and pursuing you in the purple graveyard.

When I was younger I made a ~20 page Mario comic and the castle from this galaxy was one of the main locations! I've always loved the whimsical, slightly fairytale-like windmill aesthetic of this galaxy 🤍💜

Yeah cloudy court!! This galaxy always felt so magical to me as a kid. It's probably why the cloud flower is one of my favorite power-ups. I love these videos so much.

If Mario galaxy 2 got remastered. I hope none of the soundtracks get changed. I don't know why Nintendo didn't include it along with 3d land. Back in the anniversary when they announced super Mario 3d All Stars. They excluded Mario galaxy 2 and 3d land. So hopefully they have a plan. This was the game of the decade after all.
