This video showing how to make a wax comb for my surfboard. I show how to export g-code from Fusion 360 to control the X-carve as well as how to machine Aluminum. I also show how to export STL's from Fusion 360 into Cura to control my Printrbot metal plus and get some professional quality prints.

Great project, but shorting the 2 inner pins (D+ and D-) together will fulfill the same purpose as connecting them to the board. Also, there are cheaper options like these powerbank modules. And don‘t cut both the wires of the lithium cells as it will short them out.

hey ! love the job ! Love the color. I started spray painting a board, but after 2 coats the result is rather horrible... uneven color, loads of more or less dark/clear patches. The original color is blue. It doesn't appear underneath. Any idea why ? Do I have to add more coats ?? I'd be greatful for you opinion .

I love how it looked but you should’ve done a waterproofing coat AND a sun resistant one and I dont think black was the best choice for the TOP of the board but either way it looks great! Well done cosmetic wise!

You can't just guess at center on the potentiometer. Center it with a servo tester or a RC receiver. Also, you shouldn't turn servos by hand - it's hard on the gears. thanks.

That's right. It becomes a variable speed, reversible motor. That's all. But that's still cool.

Aegeon Blue huh , never even thought of that, was thinking of painting my old yellow ass longboard someone gave me, maybe a slight standing of the glass on top would help out with the wax sticking a bit better 🤙🏻
