Tom has the local sheep walking past the Bailey wall that the tram road ran past into the Blaenavon Mining Companies Pwll Du Tunnel.
The coal fires are well lite in 1 to 30 Long Row on this day as the fire smoke is coming out nicely into the air.

In 1999 The BBC turned up in Pwll Du near The Keepers Pond Blaenavon to erect a full size Cafe and Garage front, to film the programme The Border Cafe. Pwll Du Village built for the coal, iron ore and quarry haulier workers around 1819 to bring the Limestone from the Tyla & Pwll Du Quarries to the Blaenavon Ironworks via The Pwlldu Tunnel, the longest horse drawn dram tunnel in the UK at the time and the only one with a Y junction underground.
