Did you modify in-game music's MIDI sequence as well? Or was it just splicing the music in an audio editor?
The latter - I removed half of the audio in Audacity, then layered various transitional flourishes on top to smooth over the clunkier edits. (Drummer Duel needed the most work.) I used the version from the OST & added the sound effects last.
Should I call this rhythm heaven mixup
