Could you elaborate a bit further please? Do you mean it doesn't sound like the original? Neither does this live version lol. Or just the tone in general? Sounds the same on my regular headphones and in ear monitors, a bit more highs on my phone, and it doesn't sound cringe to me. So only knowing what it sounds like to me it's a bit hard to understand what exactly it is you're referring to. And it would be greatly appreciated to be able to improve.

@@jasminekelly423 This appears to be the second to last concert they played. But they had been touring since 2019, so probably time for a break and a new album, and they'll probably be back on the road in a year or 2, 3.

They were on the top of my must see list during the festival, hence why I also went so close to the stage when the opportunity presented itself, and they sure didn't disappoint. The crowd still going wild over 20 year old songs pretty much says it all I think.

Just some people standing next to us lol. I didn't care, but my American ex turned it into a running gag. But don't pretend they don't exist lol. It's those people who speak English with their native accent, we have them as well, but one of the Dutch accents has that really strong "sh" or "sj" sound to it. If you really want to have a laugh though you should check out "Parisians Try to Speak English". 🤣

@@DVineMe I just posted a reaction, but I think I might deleted it, I'm getting older! Maybe the accent from Rotterdam and surroundings. They use those sounds when speaking Dutch. Like 'zo' - 'sjow' 😁 Funny video from Cyriel Dessers learning the dialect (starting from 6:23) m.czcams.com/video/aFCAjlegX0Y/video.html Although 'weeshuur' sounds more posh like a 'kakmadam'.😁 I'm under no illusion that I don't have an accent, I know I do, an American woman once asked me if I came from Nigeria, random but hey in that moment I was Nigerian! I watched the video about the Parisians. Sometimes I thought they spoke French 🤣 But to be fair: Who is able to pronounce Massachusetts?!

The only band I went that close to the stage for (this year and this festival). They were amazing.

Had mijn ticket al van voor de corona crisis (omwille van Paul McCartney), zij hebben het in 2022 waarde gegeven. De rest van het festival was niets dan opvulling, voor mij was het reeds geslaagd omstreekts 15u ofz. 😅

Outfit wise I did it for last yeat's New Year, hence slightly more dressed up lol. Cover wise, or rahter sound wise, thanks! I always find it difficult to mix it with the song, like I can reduce the bass on the original, but then it'll just sound like the original still, but there's a bit of distortion on the bass here, so I decided to add just a little bit more distortion just to stand out. :)

There are people who pay €80 to see Ed Sheeran at the same venue, then there are those same people who pay €80 to see Coldplay at that same venue. I paid the price of both those tickets to see these legends, because they actually deserve it. Slightly disappointed that they didn't play all the songs I wanted to hear. Still no idea why Beast Of Burden was the voters choice when Wild Horses and Ruby Tuesday passed on the screen, or She's A Rainbow is actually one of the 4 choices... Call me crazy, even though Beast Of Burden is a great song in my honest and humble opinion any of those 3 is better. Of course they couldn't in the time they play (also milking songs, sometimes you can, but sometimes you just want more songs lol), but yeah, just goes to show they could probably fill a day with just hits. My Spotify playlist of them is longer than they played. And you can't always get what you want... 🤣 My parents took me and my sister to see them when I was about 10 years old. This time around I took them to see them. And it was more than worth it.

Hard-core Stones fans like me don't want to always hear some of the biggest hits. Alot of us like more obscure songs. The Stones try to please everyone. I would love to hear Beast of Burden and She's A Rainbow. That's cool that you saw them as a 10 year old! Must have been an incredible experience! I first saw them at age 20.

@@michellelandry4587 It was. And well "saw", mostly hear them. Also another song I just thought of: Angie lol. And yes, of course you don't want the hit show, but yeah, so much left out there. And that's just the problem of being a band that has been around for so long: too many hits, too little time. So yeah, I want to hear those obscure things as well, but I also want to hear all the hit songs, I just want to get them to play all day lol.
