Looking for an interview , here on CZcams, with Chester Thompson and this came up . I swear , Chester Thompson is such an amazing musician, it blows my mind the chemistry he had with Carlos - the subliminal synchronicity they had - just totally Supernatural (pun intended!) . He was the perfect foil for Carlos , the way he embellished the melodies and rhythms. Never get tired of hearing these songs

Chester is the effin man. Couple moments there was the absolute. He was holding back.

It’s 2024 and I still watch this video since more than 15 years by now 😂 I lost count tbh but I know that I really enjoy this video and the songs hahahaha❤

There were / are few Hammond players in Chester's class - Dr Lonnie Smith, Jimmy Smith, Bill Mason, Jimmy McGriff and from the relatively modern era Joey de Francisco, Cory Henry and Barbara Dennerlein - no doubt I've missed a few but this is an elite club few can ever hope to join. Pure brilliance.
