People need to stop normalising large age gaps. Why do you think they go for those who just about pass as an adult? They love the fact that all your firsts will be with them. They love that you will spend all your youth being with them instead of actually dating people you could spend a lifetime with. You can't spend a proper lifetime with someone old enough to be your grandad or even dad really. Are you going to become their carer after a few years wasting your life while you could build a career, go out and meet people (not just romantically), travel and just live life. Imagine being guilted and manipulated into staying and being some old guy's full time carer until he dies in your 20s or 30s. Just the thought depresses me cos I feel like there are definitely old men willing to do this and ensure the younger person is dependant on them so they feel they can't leave. Edit: the kiss part in the video made me feel sick just looked like a little boy on grandads lap. Such a weird pose and everything, feels intentional to fulfil some fantasy. I don't know of any couple who kiss like that.
